Festa Major d’Estiu
A huge celebration of the longer days and hotter afternoons, Festa Major d'Estiu, or Summer Festival, takes place in many of the local towns and villages around our Spain villas in Costa Blanca throughout August. Elche’s Mystery Play
A short journey from our Costa Blanca villas, don't miss out on seeing the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage event of Elche's Mystery Play, performed in the enchanting Basilica of Santa Maria around August. One of the most famous medieval dramas in the world, observe the incredible story of the Virgin Mary's death, assumption and coronation whilst taking in the breathtaking staging and performances, which even includes actors descending from the iconic dome of the church.

Altea’s Castell de l’Olla
Known to be one of the most eagerly-awaited events around Altea, thousands of tourists and locals flock to the coast to witness the spectacle of sight and sound created by one of the best firework shows in Europe.
