This is our 6th booking with Solmar Villas. The service is amazing. We book on line and get a follow up phone call, to ask if there is anything else they can support us with. The staff are really helpful, this also includes the representative’s in resort. Would highly recommend Solmar Villas.

For something a little more luxurious, Yalikavak's palm-tree-lined marina is full of high-end fashion stores selling designer brands.

With a vast and varied golden coastline surrounded by a wooded mountainscape and backed by dazzling Greek and Turkish islands - Bodrum packs a punch when it comes to its beaches and the Aegean sea.

Home to some of Turkey's most spellbinding beaches, there's a stunning stretch of sand to suit every type of beach bum.

Bitez Beach

Ortakent beach has a beautiful rustic aesthetic, two separate sections of beach that tourists can enjoy. Both have wonderful stretches of sand and shingles and are ideal for swimming.

Gumbet

Gumbet is another famous beach with a massive range of activities. You can try thrilling water sports, such as kayaking, windsurfing and parasailing - or snorkel and appreciate the beautiful sea life.

Bodrum town beach

The most popular resort for tourists is Bodrum Town beach, which features a range of cost-effective refreshment stands, restaurants and activities for families to enjoy. You could easily spend a whole day here.

Bodrum may not be the nightlife capital of Turkey, but it sure has a lively personality. Whether you're seeking a quiet night along the waterfront or a club to dance to until dawn, this region delivers.

Bodrum City is a clubbing hotspot with neon-lit clubs hosting live DJ nights and trendy bars with thrilling dance floors. For more variety, Gumbet has it all, from cocktail bars and karaoke nights to chilled-out bars serving locally brewed beers.

Bodrum Yacht Club

The yacht club is a more upmarket destination that entertains people of all ages. In the daytime and early evening, it's more of a restaurant and bar, but people also go there to dance the night away due to the many DJs that perform after 10:30 pm.

Kule Rock City Bar

If house music isn't your thing, you should head to the Kule Rock City Bar for a thrilling live music experience. Featuring loads of rock bands, you won't find the likes of Justin Bieber in this place.

Club Catamaran

One of the more unique experiences, Club Catamaran, is a travelling nightclub that takes visitors out to sea. You'll enjoy fantastic music, great drinks and a free speedboat shuttle service, allowing you to leave whenever you want.

Across the region, you'll find everything from three-course meals at high-end restaurants in Yalikavak's snazzy marina to family-run waterfront restaurants offering the best Aegean specialities.

Head to Turgutreis to soak up the laid-back atmosphere and romantic setting along the waterfront, where dinner is served in front of sensational sunset vistas. Bodrum's sumptuous cuisine will leave you wanting more, with mezze dishes being a staple on every menu filled with fresh vegetables or locally caught seafood.

There's even a busy street-food scene in Bodrum City to sink your teeth into, from succulent kebabs and meatballs served with homemade pita to hearty stews and casseroles.

La Pasion

Tapas fans flock to La Pasion for its selection of small plates that are bound to be a big hit. You'll enjoy a selection of dishes, including slow-cooked beef, carpaccio and paellas.

Moya Brasserie

Moya Brasserie specialises in a range of seafood dishes, but what makes it unique is the assortment of locally sourced wines. There are so many to choose between, including Anatolian wines.

Known to be where the ancient Greeks founded civilisation, this area's history is ripe for exploring with its wealth of enthralling archaeological sites.

There are antique gems around every corner, from ancient tombs and mausoleums at Halicarnassus, to fascinating ruins and antique temples at Ephesus and untouched Turkish villages scattered inland.

Arguably the most visited site in the region, the Castle of St. Peter sits overlooking Bodrum City's seafront and is remarkably well-preserved. When inside, visit the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, which echoes the history found under the surface.

Port Bodrum

Yalikavak is one of Bodrum's most luxurious destinations and a hotspot for the rich and famous alike. Take a day trip to the coast and enjoy a range of restaurants, boutiques and windsurfing activities.

Zeki Muren Art Museum

Fans of Zeki Muren can get up close and personal with him in the museum. The impressive collection features antiques from his life, including sketches, costumes, letters from fans, and so much more.

Take an Aegean Sea boat trip

The Aegean sea is renowned for its impressive blue colour, and people travel far and wide to witness its natural beauty. There are so many boat trips available, so it's a great way to enjoy being on the water.
