You will be able to request a full refund of the price paid for your villa booking, if on your date of travel, the following conditions are met:
- Your villa booking was made on or after 07/10/2021.
- Your booking was made for a villa to which the offer applies, which will show if available for your chosen dates during your booking journey.
- The UK FCDO or Government in your country of residence advises against travel to your destination due to COVID-19 on your travel date.
- There are COVID-19 restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination.
- You are required, due to COVID-19, to quarantine in a hotel on arrival in your destination country.
- You are required, due to COVID-19, to quarantine in a hotel on return to the UK.

Villa Kalipso Overview
Villa Kalipso certainly delivers when you think of a dreamy Greek island escape - utterly idyllic, nestled into the dense Corfiot countryside, there’s nothing more tranquil than waking up surrounded by citrus groves, rolling green hills, and verdant vineyards - all backed by a jaw-dropping mountainscape. Built to showcase the best of Corfu’s incredible landscape, Villa Kalipso is set directly overlooking the glistening turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. Located in the sleepy village of Chalikounas, there’s a small selection of cafes and restaurants, all serving up delicious local delicacies. If you want to turn things up a notch, you’re just a short drive from the thriving resort of Messonghi.
The outside area definitely has some wow factor, with a side stone terrace made for gazing out at the awe-inspiring views of the gleaming seascape. We can just imagine mornings spent sipping coffee on the balcony, all whilst admiring the sublime backdrop. The pergola was made for long evening barbecues in the fresh air, with a choice of dining on the table nearer the sea view or under the shade. If relaxation is top of the itinerary, spend hazy afternoons relaxing on the cushioned sun loungers or going for a dip in the sparkling swimming pool.
Villa Kalipso is an architectural beauty with its feet firmly planted in the traditions of the island, with peach-hued walls, terracotta roofs, and bright wooden shutters. Inside is a modern twist, featuring contemporary-designed interiors, furnished with a stylish simplicity, and painted with neutral colour tones. The large doors and windows allow the natural sunlight to seep in, creating a feeling of spaciousness and warmth while allowing you to make the most of those spellbinding sea views. A beautiful stone-built fireplace takes centre stage in the living room, surrounded by a plush sofa set and white wooden furnishings. Follow through the dining pavilion to the country-chic Victorian kitchen, featuring old-style wooden cabinets and a quaint breakfast bar in the middle. While you'll find 2 bedrooms downstairs, upstairs is the spacious master bedroom suite, with a king sized bed, office area and an ensuite bathroom boasting both a super modern shower and full whirlpool bath. This bedroom leads gracefully out to the upper private balcony with glorious views.
There is an additional studio cottage available for an additional 2 guests on request. This is reached by a separate path through the garden and is totally independent. Please contact us for more information

Please note Villas Kalipso and Erato share a main gate and driveway but have separate parking areas and totally separate entrances to each villa. In the entrance area there is a shared children's playground on grass, available for the use of clients from both villas.

Halikounas is the perfect destination for those after a peaceful Greek getaway, surrounded by the sublime Corfiot countryside with olive-clad hillsides, citrus orchards, beautiful vineyards, and quiet beaches at every turn. Perched by the famous Lake Korission, life here is laid-back and low-key, with just a modest spread of restaurants dotted along the coastal paths and tracks. The sandy beach stretches over three kilometres and is considered one of the most beautiful in the Ionian Islands. The variations in the coastal landscape are endless, with a verdant forest, a glistening lagoon, wild sand dunes and, above all, it is pristine and unspoilt. With regular wind from the north-western side, it’s a water sports haven for kite surfing and wind surfing.
Other sublime beaches, such as Prasoudi and Kanouli, can be reached within a few minutes’ drive. You’re in the perfect spot for resort hopping. Just a ten-minute drive away is the larger village of Agios Matheos, perfectly picturesque with a locally run mini-market, butcher, and bakery. For a taste of something busier, Corfu Town is a forty-minute drive away, where you can get lost in the labyrinth-like streets, filled with historic architecture, world-class museums, and a diverse gastronomic scene.
