With a selection of restaurants, shops and café’s nearby, along with the magnificent Es Pou beach (200m), the location of Villa Pou Tres is amongst our best in Mallorca. Sitting proudly amongst villas of similar stature, this simple but perfectly located villa is an excellent choice for keeping car use to a minimum. Both inside and out there is no shortage of space in which to relax, all rooms being bright, welcoming and with good facilities, as well as providing excellent options for large families or sharing parties. While there may be no immediate need to use the car, do take time to explore further afield. Head north and explore the Caves of Drach, near Porto Cristo. After experiencing these spectacular stalactites, stalagmites and subterranean lakes, sit and listen to atmospheric music played by musicians in small boats. Or head south to Mondragó Natural Park and Santanyi, a 700-year-old village which is a haven for walkers and artists, as well as those seeking a taste of traditional Mallorca.

The villa has 3 steps to enter and a path which is 200cm wide. The front door is 80cm and other doors that access the pool are the sliding doors in the lounge which are 105cm wide and the bedroom doors which are 137cm wide. The pool area is flat but from the terrace there are 8 steps to get to the pool. There is a ladder into the pool and the terrace space is limited when all the sunbeds are out. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 69cm wide and the widest bath/shower room door on the ground floor is 58cm wide. Our villa was shared between 4 adults and 6 children from ages 4 to 17. It was clean and spacious and in a brilliant location close to the beach and shops. The pool was small but deep and really clean. The air con worked really well throughout the house and brought welcome relief to the heat. We had to speak to Juliette the rep once or twice and she replied very quickly and even popped in to see if everything was ok. We did have an issue with the drains of the showers but an engineer was sent out the following day to fix it. There was a nice selection of books left behind by previous guests and it was great to only have a tv downstairs as it didn't take over the main space. The kitchen had lots of cups and plates and glasses. We had one family member who was coeliac and we found the supermarkets had a good selection of GF food and Tonys restaurant was brilliant in providing a huge range of GF meals . The coffee machine was a great addition to the kitchen . The beds were super comfy memory foam with quality linen. A great selection of towels that were changed mid week .

Villa was lovely and accomodated 9 adults and two children well, situated 2 minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes to local shopping area (several nik nak/beach shops, euroski supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants/bars), if you want to avoid car hire everything is in walking distance. Only drawback with the villa was a tiny kitchen, 2 adults max to work in, oven was touch and go to figure out and use, downstairs first room you will hear the wooshing sound of any toilets being flushed in the villa - informed it sounds like you are sleeping next to a waterfall. For people with younger children they need to be constantly watched due to all the stairs inside and out of the villa, stair gates would be useful but didn't think to ask for any when requesting cot and high chair. Beds are a little hard but softened by putting woollen blanket under you. Swimming pool does not really have a shallow end, 1.4 metres and upwards but small paddling pools are cheap enough in local shops and they will inflate them for you. Solmar representative was very helpful when requesting anything, such as extra blankets, and prompt to reply/deliver.

We've just returned from a wonderful week at this villa. We initially enquired regarding a smaller property but that wasn't available and we were offered this as an alternative. It's much larger than we required but it was a great price so we jumped at the offer. We arrange for a travel cot and highchair which were both there and set up. The showers on each level are very modern. The kitchen is small but adequate. The cleaners came in the middle of our stay. The local representative, Juliette, is fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble. The positives are its a five minute walk to the small resort of Cala egos, there's supermarkets and restaurants here. It's also round the corner from the most beautiful little beach. About fifteen minutes away is the marina with upmarket restaurants and amazing yachts. It's a great location! This would be a brilliant villa for a large group or family.

Firstly I'd like to say a huge thank you on behalf of myself and my family for the most wonderful holiday we had in Cala Egos at Es Pou Dor 3. We were very anxious about this villa as we had another booked but unfortunately that fell through. However, the service we received from Solmar in helping us choose a replacement was second to none. The villa exceeded our expectations in all areas and after visiting our original villa decided that our replacement was truly meant for us! Perhaps you should mention in the villa description that the lower level has a full bathroom too. We were delighted to find this as theoretically each family had their own private living space. The villa was clean on arrival and the servicing of linen, villa and pool was first class. A few more photos of this beautiful villa would be of benefit. The location is absolutely ideal for families with children as the beach, shops and restaurants are well within easy walking distance. Once again, many thanks for a wonderful holiday. We would highly recommend Solmar Villas and The Villa Es Pou Dor 3. Forgot to add restaurants! We had the added issue that our 2yr old granddaughter has a severe peanut allergy. All the restaurants in Cala Egos were more than willing to cook something separately for her. Tony's in particular were fabulous and the food delicious. Very family friendly. Cafe Lomer did delicious ice cream sundaes and the man even did an individual strawberries and cream for our girl so she didnt feel left out! Once again thank you so much for all your help Es Pou Dor 3 was 100% better and truly was the Barclay family villa! We cannot praise Solmar Villas staff highly enough for the patience and friendly customer care we received. Many thanks!

The villa was fantastic & beyond our wildest dreams! It was clean and well maintained. The pool was maintained twice during the week we were there and was exceptionally clean. We were just a short distance from the beach and shops and Cala D'Or itself was a lovely walk around the marina. We were very impressed with all the attention we received from Solmar who kindly arranged additional facilities due to my husband having undergone a recent operation.

The villa was certainly spacious enough for the 2 of us. The roof terrace was excellent with fabulous views. The position of the villa was also great, only a stone's throw away from bars and restaurants but far enough away as not to hear any noise. The walk into Cala D'or was lovely, especially going through the marina. Cala D'or offered a lot more choice in restaurants but we only ate there twice. We found our location and the size of the town to be ideal. We had a lovely, chilled out holiday. This was our second holiday with you and the service you provided during the bookings etc was excellent and we will probably book with you again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday last year and the location of the villa was brilliant especially as we had the pushchair with us. The villa itself was huge with more than enough room. The location was brilliant as it was within walking distance of everywhere. We really love the resort as it has lovely little beaches and very child friendly. There are numerous restaurants around to eat in and the harbour is fantastic. My experience of Solmar was very good and I would have no problem with using the company again.

We found the villa to be very accurately described on the Solmar Villas website. The villa was very clean on arrival and we were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of cleaners half way through our weeks stay, an unexpected bonus. Location is great, about 300m from nearest bars and shops of Cala Egos and 200m from the lovely but small beach. It's about 25 mins stroll around the marina to the restaurants, or a 6 Euro taxi ride. The villa has a lovely roof terrace which is a great sun-trap and provides some stunning sea-views. All in all we were delighted without choice of villa and would definitely stay there again and would also be pleased to book with Solmar Villas again.
