We know that you might be feeling uncertain about booking your next holiday with the ever-changing travel restrictions, which is why we've introduced our Travel Restrictions Guarantee for your peace of mind.
Book your next villa holiday with confidence, safe in the knowledge that you can either move your dates or receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid if your travel dates are restricted by either FCDO/local government advice advice or local restrictions in your destination country.*
The Travel Restrictions Guarantee is automatically included in the website price and can be removed before you book, however we strongly advise you keep it to give you added flexibility and protection.
You will still need to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy as soon as your booking is confirmed. This insurance should, as a minimum, protect you against cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, loss/theft of possessions and documents, personal liability and airline failure.
Terms and Conditions
'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' applies to bookings for arrival between 1st May 2021 and 31st December 2021 only.
If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.

Villa Paulina is a modern four-bedroom property located just 1.5 kilometres from the beach and centre of Lloret de Mar, one of the Costa Brava’s hotspots.
Ideal for two families with older children who want a sense of independence or several groups of friends, the property is split into two separate floors to encourage bringing both groups together for shared outdoor moments and dining, while allowing privacy indoors during downtime. The apartment downstairs has a spacious open-plan kitchen and large dining area for all guests to enjoy, along with sliding doors leading to the pool area. There are two bedrooms on this floor, one with twin beds and the other a double bedroom with an ensuite, also offering pool access through large glass doors. The top floor comprises an open-plan kitchen with an American-style breakfast bar and a living room with multiple bay windows dressed with smart flowing drapes. A further double bedroom offers an ensuite and the twin bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom.
The villa’s external area consists of a large terracotta-tiled terrace with a private pool and sunloungers to soak up the Mediterranean rays. There is a table to enjoy afternoon meals or barbecues which is shaded by the upper floor, surrounded by impressive gold columns.
When you visit the beaches in Lloret de Mar, it’s clear to see why tourists have been enticed to the Spanish coastline for decades. Beyond the beach, the resort retains a sense of culture with the Church of Santa Roma, while one of Europe’s biggest waterparks is right on your doorstep. The villa is also just ten kilometres from one of the Costa Brava’s prettiest towns, Tossa de Mar, where we recommend exploring the Old Town.
Usual day is Saturdays.

Girona Airport (GRO)
With its mix of spotless beaches baked with Mediterranean rays, electric nightlife and ancient Gothic-style buildings, it’s clear to see why Lloret de Mar has been enticing tourists to the Spanish coastline for decades. Situated in the southern part of the region just 70 kilometres from Barcelona, this popular resort is a great base for a villa holiday in the Costa Brava.
Blessed with seven kilometres of coastline, you’re bound to find the perfect golden-sand beach to relish the mild climate. Two offer Blue Flag status and you can try your hand at various watersports –snorkellers and scuba divers flock here thanks to the crystal-clear waters teeming with marine life. This typical Spanish resort also retains a keen sense of culture – the brightly-coloured Church of Santa Roma and ancient castle ruins high on the cliffs are both worth a visit. Save some energy for a visit to one of Europe’s biggest waterparks on your doorstep, or hike the hills around Lloret de Mar, before savouring Catalan cuisine and a cocktail as the sun sets at one of the many bars and restaurants along the seafront promenade.
Another draw of the resort is that you’re just an hour's drive from the chic seaside city of Barcelona, where you can explore everything from the labyrinthine gothic quarter in the heart of the old city to the famous Camp Nou, the iconic stadium of FC Barcelona and the largest in Europe.
