Villa Mercedes Nerja

We really enjoyed our stay. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Pool area and barbecue were fantastic. Villa private and peaceful.

We had never been to Nerja before and it was a real treat. Lots to do and the solace of the mountains for some downtime. The villa was very good with a great pool. Like all villas of this age the floors are tiled inside and out. I wouldn't recommend the villa for small children. The floors could be slippy and I'd say the pool is too deep even in the shallow end. I would also recommend a car. Whilst Lidl and Aldi is close you do have a hilly walk to go there and back. Can be sweaty if you want to carry water back! All that said it was a lovely villa and area. Solmar are also great to deal with - I have done so for over 10 years and will continue to do so :-)

A lovely villa with everything you need to make a home away from home. We stayed at the height of summer so in our view, the walk into Nerja would have been too far in the heat and the ground/paths/ roads are rough so I would say a car is needed in summer. A walk to Lidl in the morning was very manageable but we didn’t try to walk into town. The location is lovely with nice views and really quiet. Also very convenient for driving to Frigiliana (which I personally preferred to Nerja which was incredibly busy). Would have no hesitation in recommending this villa.
