La Posada

Once you have booked and paid then you get the directions to the villa. The villa is accessed by a gate. One you get through the gate follow the road as far as you can and you arrive at the villa. The villa is spacious and has everything needed for your stay. Pool towels are available on request. The pool is accessed by stairs on either side of the balcony. I would recommend stocking up on food and drinks. The fridge freezer is a good size for chilled and frozen. Bottled water is a must. Nerja beach is beautiful. The restaurants and bars are very reasonably priced.

It was clean and had everything we needed but downsides were it was right at the end of a very tough windy up hill road so which was quite dangerous so once you were in you didn’t really want to go back at. Think this needs to be advertised somewhere as yes you recommend a car but maybe some detail about the road so people know what to expect the first time they get there. Pool was great but over by loads of trees so loads of derbris and leaves everywhere. WiFi didn’t work while we were there which isn’t a major thing for us but was annoying at night when we wanted to watch stuff of the fire stick provided.

Villa was perfect for 6 adults and one child. Location is remote so a car is essential but the google maps directions provided were perfect for locating it. Critiques would be that a lot of the appliances need updating, kettle takes ages to boil, we had to get a new toaster when we were there (which was delivered in the box by the guy the next day) AC leaks when turned on for too long. The biggest problem we had was flies, I would think this is due to the location but it really did affect every part of the holiday. I think that maybe some type of further prevention is needed, we scoured the town for fly paper or something to no avail. Overall I would recommend this villa and the changes needed would be slight for the owners which would make it 5 stars for me.
