We were very much looking forward to our holiday. However unfortunately the villa is not well maintained, and the description of the location is also misleading. We were a family with young children. Throughout our stay we had many issues that made the villa unsafe, this included electrics being exposed, areas around the jacuzzi having broken elements, the umbrellas not being in suitable stands. Unfortunately the pool was unusable for two days out of our holiday, as it's was not filtered properly. Solmar villas were responsive and helpful. They did send staff out quickly to investigate the issues, however I would say the owner is not keen on maintaining the villa and so rather than fully repairing/solving the problem the owner would do a basic fix. I would say the villa is 1.6km from the beach as the crow flies, however to actually access the beach you need to walk at least 2km. We managed without a car, however it was difficult.

Second stay at Villa Isla. Beautifully clean with great pool & jacuzzi. Let me say now that there were only two of us, so spoilt for space, and still active enough to climb the steps. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The villa remains comfortably cool and it was 30C+ during our stay. Bedrooms have air conditioning.

This property is very high up a hill and is a long way from the beach and shops. They make it sound as if it’s close but it’s not. It was also very cold as there is no way to heat the living room.

To access the villa there is a path which is 83am wide with 38 steps leading to the villa. The front door has a width of 62cm and the other doors that accesses the pool area is the back door which is 84cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool area is 84cm wide and the grounds are on all different levels, there is an annex with just one bedroom and bathroom which has 13 steps leading down to the pool area and 15 steps leading up to the main villa. Internally there are 15 steps to the first floor. All the bedrooms have a door width of 60cm and all the bathrooms have a door width of 60cm. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 92cm wide and the door into the lounge area is 216cm. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
