Book with full confidence – every villa holiday is safe, secure and financially protected.
Punta Prima villa holidays are an old favourite for Menorcan getaways, and it's easy to see why! With a long, white sandy beach and calm turquoise waters, this friendly little resort has been welcoming families for years. It retains its charm, though, with no high-rise buildings and plenty of authentic Spanish restaurants should you want to sample the local cuisine. If exploration is your thing, jump on the famous Cami de Cavalls, a coastal path that encircles the island with many fascinating hiking and cycling hotspots. The capital Mahón is a short bus ride away.
Book with confidence, knowing that over 4,340 customers have rated us 4.7 on average reflects the care and personal service we put into every booking.
Only just booked holiday, but all good so far. Phoned for advice, call was answered quickly and query resolved. Booked online and there was an issue with flights not appearing on confirmation. Called again, picked up straight away and advised flights would be added manually on system. They appeared almost immediately with follow up email, so very impressed with service. Looking forward to holiday and receiving additional information from their ‘concierge service’. If the rest of the holiday process is as good as the initial booking, I’ll recommend without hesitation.
Online booking was straightforward, once booked great communication from customer service via email & telephone
Quick and easy to use website to book. Good quick response received
This is the third time I have booked with Solmar and the service is excellent. Always very helpful.
Easy to navigate site, view options and book. Confirmation and follow up communications, with information, points of contact and support are very clear and reassuring.
Looked initially on the Solmar website, and then spoke to Ange on the phone. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, and a great asset to the company.
We wanted a complete package, including flights and hire car, and Eleanor from their customer service team went out of her way to get everything just the way we wanted. Fantastic service. We've been with Solmar before and found them to be very efficient so chose them again this time.
I just booked online it was very easy and straightforward I have booked several times with Solmar villa's and have been really pleased with all my bookings I would highly recommend them
Exemplary service from the entire team. So focussed on the customer experience and ensuring that everything is perfect.
The personal service from Kristal was superb. I know I've come to expect this from Solmar, but it is always so appreciated. Keep up the great work and thank you.
Efficient, polite just needs to make small print bigger for overall a good service.
Victoria agent who I spoke with was excellent and very helpful in getting us the right location and villa.
Simple to book and immediate contact to offer further assistance with any extras such as flights ,car hire ,transfers ,etc . Concierge service to help and deal with any queries you may have with your future trip . Overall Solmar appear to be a quality company with the services offered so far . Top marks .
Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.
Punta Prima offers so much in terms of activities and culture, but if you want to enjoy a private holiday without the hustle and bustle of tourists, our villas in Punta Prima are the perfect retreats.
Many are within walking distance of the local attractions while still giving you that much-needed family time. Grab some food from the local grocery stores, cook up a feast in your private garden, swim in a relaxing pool, and still get out and about to appreciate this fantastic resort.
Punta Prima is one of the most popular resorts on the island because it's just 25 minutes away from Menorca airport and close to the city of Mahon. There's so much to do here; families love visiting for a fun-filled holiday.
Whether you want to relax on the beaches or visit the surrounding cities, you'll find enough activities to keep your children entertained. Menorca might seem like a package holiday destination in terms of culture, but when you look beneath the surface, you'll find some wonderful gems.
Most importantly, the resort has abundant restaurants, bars, with lots of nearby evening entertainment.
Punta Prima is known for its main beach, which is popular with both locals and tourists. The soft sand is perfect for building castles and sunbathing, but what makes Punta Prima Beach really special is the turquoise waters, which are shallow enough for children to enjoy.
If you love beach life, you can also travel to nearby resorts, including Cala Alcaufar, a lovely little beach with shallow waters.
Cala Torret has an impressive cove and fishermen's huts, making it the perfect place for snorkelling.
Punta Prima isn't known as a party destination, so if you're not into all-night clubbing, this is the spot for you. Don't worry about being bored though, because there are several bars in the area, and there's always the opportunity to spend time in the busier resorts.
Most restaurants double as bars, but if you want to be close to the action, Mahon is just a 21-minute bus trip away.
If you want to enjoy authentic live music, this is the place to be. Live musicians play here; depending on when you go, you can listen to soul, jazz, music from the world, and live orchestras.
What makes Punta Prima really special is its collection of restaurants. You'll find everything you want here and more, with many of the restaurants dotted around the beach. If you wish to experience traditional cuisine or some family favourites, there's always a feast waiting for you.
Tapas is a Spanish classic, and this restaurant delivers a fantastic experience. Choose between a range of authentic dishes, or order seafood and meat dishes.
Another popular option for families is Can Santi, which offers pizza, pasta, and omelettes.
As Punta Prima is primarily a resort for tourists, so you'll need to travel further afield to enjoy Menorca's many cultural and historical offerings. Public transport is great on the island, or you can rent a car to make things easier.
A visit to the Punta Prima Lighthouse is a must for panoramic views of the coast and the surrounding landscape. Climb to the top of the lighthouse and marvel at the breathtaking vistas that stretch as far as the eye can see.
You'll also capture some great photographs here, so don't forget your camera.
Ca'n Oliver is one of Menorca's oldest houses and well worth a visit if you appreciate architecture. The house has an extensive collection of Hernandez Sanz artworks over multiple floors, and you can see the history of one of Menorca's most infallible families.
Mahon also has an impressive museum that details the history of Menorca. It makes the perfect day trip and can be a really educational experience for the whole family. There's a particular emphasis on the interesting Talayotic influences that defined Menorca too.
Mahon's Old Town is bursting with history and in line with traditional Spanish culture; the shops shut from around lunch to 4:30 pm. It's the perfect time to avoid the hustle and bustle and marvel at the old buildings in all their glory.
The Balearic Islands are a great place to take younger children, and Punta Prima is no different. You'll find this beautiful location offers so much in terms of activities, with some right on your doorstep.
BlackLizzard allows you to see Menorca from a boat tour. With drinks and snacks included, each tour lasts for around three hours, and you can also enjoy some snorkelling along the way.
Menorca is a fantastic place for animal lovers, and families can take advantage of one of many horseback riding experiences. These family-friendly tours let you see the island in a new light and allow the little ones to avoid walking around.
There's nothing better than being able to enjoy Punta Prima from your very own villa. We offer a range of accommodation options, with current villas sleeping between five and ten people, so you can get a great deal on a large family holiday.
Better still, most of these villas are close to the local amenities and a stone's throw from the local beach.
Each villa has a private pool, air conditioning and free WiFi, giving you a home away from home - with some welcome extras. Appreciate the laid-back Spanish culture in your quiet backyard, and fire up the grill, or walk to one of the many restaurants nearby.
Booking with Solmar couldn't be easier, but our most popular villas in Punta Prima fill up quickly. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment, and our friendly customer service team is always on hand to offer support.
