You will be able to request a full refund of the price paid for your villa booking, if on your date of travel, the following conditions are met:
- Your villa booking was made on or after 07/10/2021.
- Your booking was made for a villa to which the offer applies, which will show if available for your chosen dates during your booking journey.
- The UK FCDO or Government in your country of residence advises against travel to your destination due to COVID-19 on your travel date.
- There are COVID-19 restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination.

The inviting kidney shaped pool and covered alfresco terrace area are perfect for spending days lounging in the Menorcan sunshine.
If you can tear yourself away from your villa the resort centre is a short walk away with a wide choice of restaurants, supermarkets and even a few bars in which to enjoy after dinner drinks. If that isn’t enough to tempt you there is also a variety of sports available in the resort including tennis, boat hire, kayaking or even pedaloes for the little ones. There’s something for everyone in Cala Galdana.

This villa is in an exceptionally hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there is a path which is 110cm wide along with 3 steps. The front door has a width of 88cm wide and other doors that access the pool area are the lounge patio doors which are 90cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool area are 110cm wide, the grounds are flat but there are two steps to get to the pool and the pool has steps to enter. There are no bedrooms or bathrooms on the ground floor, the nearest is up 16 steps to the first floor. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 70cm wide and the door into the lounge area is 70cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.

There’s so much to do on a villa holiday in Cala Galdana, but the pace of life remains slow and steady providing just the right balance.

Having a swimming pool with the villa made our stay all the more relaxing. The villa was well equipped with plenty of crockery and a lovely little balcony with main bedroom and neat outdoor drying area for washing. We didn’t make use of the bbq which required a lot of coal due to its size. Better option would be to use a disposable BBQ.

Cala Galdana is a most beautiful resort and bay ideally suited to those with young children due to the large beach, shallow and clear bay and nearby amenities. It has drawn us back since our first visit there in 1999 when our two girls were 1 & 2 and we still love to go back there even now they are adults themselves. Our recent stay was the first in a Solmar Villa and we were particularly impressed with the welcome by staff at the airport and the cleanliness and specification of the villa we stayed in (Villa Marcolis Cel). We would recommend this villa and the resort to anyone considering taking a villa holiday in Menorca.

Fantastic villa and fantastic service from Solmar. We had a slight problem with toilet and despite being out of hours the problem was quickly resolved within an hour of phoning the out of hours number. Plus the local rep Donna even stayed on and kept in touch with us to make sure the problem was sorted. Great contact by solmar both before and after trip. Lovely fresh towels mid week. All the facilities user friendly and lovely quiet location. Can't wait to go again.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Marcolis Cel, the private pool was the highlight of the holiday, we couldn’t tear the kids away! The facilities in the villa were excellent meaning we could really kick back and relax and cook our own meals when we wanted to with no added pressure of hotel timetables. We did venture out into the resort on a couple of occasions and were very impressed with the beach, the sea was glorious and stayed shallow for quite a way out which was perfect for the little ones. We ate out one evening and found the restaurant to be very reasonable and the food delicious, one week was nowhere near long enough. We will be back!
