The breathtaking Castelo beach is surrounded by impressive cliffs and castle shaped rock formations which is where this resort gains its name. Castelo is a quiet residential area making it perfect for relaxing holidays and still offers a selection of bars, restaurants and a supermarket. The nearby resort of Albufeira, known for its fantastic sandy beaches and sizzling nightlife, is conveniently 10 minutes away.

Beautiful villa with everything you need to ensure a wonderful stay. This was our second stay and the new shower room this year (2025) on the ground floor was fabulous. We also liked the more traditional en suite bathrooms upstairs. Kitchen is superbly equipped though if using the oven be prepared for the fire alarm to be activated. It seemed to be exceptionally sensitive to the oven door being opened! Close to local restaurants and within walking distance of some beautiful beaches and the amazing coastal scenery. Bus stops for either Gale or Albufeira are only a couple of minutes walk away and when we needed a taxi one was there in minutes. Sadly the boarded walkway directly opposite the villa down to Evaristo beach was damaged by fire last summer (2024) and is still not accessible.

The villa was in a good position for restaurants and the beaches. Also not far from Albufeira town and marina. The villa was clean and the maid visit twice a week was excellent. A good size property with four bedrooms and patio area. Would recommend.

Absolutely beautiful villa, great location. Had everything we needed, kitchen fully equipped, pool fabulous. Everything clean and tidy. Beaches within walking distance, restaurants within walking distance, a lovely quiet area to be in with the added bonus of entertainment on your doorstep should you choose to venture out. Wonderful, all we could have hoped for!

To access the villa there is an open path which is 124cm wide with six steps. The front door has a width of 78cm whilst other access doors have a width of 89cm. The outside is an open tiled terrace which is relatively flat, the pool path is 94cm wide. Inside the villa, the widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 66cm whilst the widest shower room door is 72cm. There are 17 steps to the first floor, where the widest bedroom door is 72cm and the widest bathroom door is 66cm.
