The Benagil sea cave is a stunning natural landmark and easily one of the most unforgettable sights along Europe’s coastline. Sunlight pours through a round opening in the cave’s ceiling, casting a warm glow and creating a picture-perfect setting. Just a short distance east of Benagil beach, the cave is best explored by kayak or boat. To truly appreciate its beauty, it’s worth heading out early before it starts to get busy.
