One of the largest villages of Rhodes, Afandou is located on the east coast and not far from the resorts of Faliraki and Rhodes Town. A lovely square can be discovered in the heart of the village, a wide selection of shops, bars, café and traditional Taverna restaurants. A popular resort and only 1km to the Blue Flag beach along the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, which can be accessed by a mini-train in the peak months. A must see is the beautiful Church of Our Lady Katholiki and the only golf course on the island, Afandou Golf is also located close to the village.

Only just booked holiday, but all good so far. Phoned for advice, call was answered quickly and query resolved. Booked online and there was an issue with flights not appearing on confirmation. Called again, picked up straight away and advised flights would be added manually on system. They appeared almost immediately with follow up email, so very impressed with service. Looking forward to holiday and receiving additional information from their ‘concierge service’. If the rest of the holiday process is as good as the initial booking, I’ll recommend without hesitation.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.

To access the villa there is a path which is 118cm wide alongside 1 step. The front door has a width of 93cm. The door to the terrace is 93cm wide. The pool sits within a lawn area, and is surrounded by a small crazy paved edge. The pool itself has step access with a handrail for support. There is 1 step down to the poolside from the covered terrace. This is a ground floor property, where the main bedroom door is 70cm wide, and the ensuite door is 72cm wide. The door into the kitchen is 93cm wide, and the lounge door is 336cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
