This villa nearly gets it right, but fails. It has ample space and comfy beds, settee and veranda furniture. However, there was only 2 sun beds on arrival, the owner did provide a third for our party but surely the villa is set up for 4 guests you should have 4 sun beds? The pool furniture was in holes literally and my partner cut and bruised his back sitting on one of the chairs! The solar panels are behind a large bush?? I wonder why there was never much hot water? The views from the balconies were beautiful and the villa itself is well equipped, the light switches were very random and 2 weeks of staying there non of us knew what lit what. On Solmar’s website it states it has a dishwasher it doesn’t but does have a washing machine. There was also a dirty mop smell around the pool drains but the pool did appear to be very clean and regularly filtered itself.

The villa is nice and clean. The owner is very pleasant and quick to respond to most (not all) issues. There are some things that can be improved. The instructions are very sadly lacking. They need to be updated and more comprehensive. If the instructions were better we would known about the electric insect repellant before being bitten all over our legs and arms while we slept. The TV system does not work. This was not important to us but it might be to others. The insect screens on the doors to the balcony in both bedrooms are broken. This is crucial in an area where there is a significant issue re mosquitoes. We never used the upper balcony for fear of letting insects into the bedrooms. There were no mattresses left out for the sunloungers or a parasol for shade. I found one dusty mattress and an old parasol in the basement. I am positive that I was not meant to go into the basement but I had no option. The owner saw I had done this but did not offer us a second mattress. We just used the cushions for the patio furniture furniture.
