Sivota is quite possibly the prettiest fishing village you are likely to come across. Located in the south east corner of Lefkas, Sivota boasts one of the prettiest and most colourful little natural harbours we have ever encountered.

For enthusiastic photographers, you’ll have a hard time convincing your friends that your images have not been photo shopped, such are the vivid contrasts between the green olive groves that tumble down to the water’s edge of the aqua marine cobalt blue waters of this stunning scene. Simply stunning.

Sivota has evolved over recent years and has become a firm favourite with the yachting fraternity, who enjoy mooring in the idyllic harbour of an evening and of course, who equally enjoy hopping ashore on their tender dinghies and dining in one of the many excellent seafood restaurants and trendy café bars that have sprung up over the years.

The villa is in a beautiful position & we have stayed there many times, that said it is looking a bit tatty & tired now inside. The sink area in the main bedroom needs replacing & the hot tub doesn't work ( we were informed about that). The shower in the downstairs bathroom leaks into the washing machine area. A larger dishwasher would be a good idea as the current one is too small for a party of 6 people. It is a bit of a task choosing which program to use on the washing machine as it is all in Greek, unlike the sister Villa Agapi which is European, also a more sturder close drying maid again like Villa Agapi's would be a great improvement as the current one is too flimsey & falls over regularly. A sunbed was broken & a number of mattresses covers were split & stained. I apologise if this sounds negative, but we all thought the villa needed a up grade as we have stayed their many times before.

Absolutely amazing views over Sivota harbour and out to sea from the outside areas as well as the house. This is what made the villa outstanding for us. The pool and garden were really lovely - plenty of places to sit in the sun or under the shade of olive trees. Barbecue area clean and easy to use. The house itself could do with some tlc - for example there were loose light fittings and generally felt it lacked maintenance although it was very clean. The jacuzzi bath ensuite to the master bedroom flooded the floor when emptying. It is awkward to use and only had a hand held shower attachment. We would have preferred a simple walk in shower, instead of having to use the one downstairs. Kitchen was adequate but we had to store all food in the fridge as ants would get into anything left out or opened in cupboards. There is a short path down to the water's edge from the road below the villa (gated). Shared with the three villas. Sun beds, parasols (broken) and a wooden platform. Again neglected and could do with a ladder to get down into the water from the platform.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Pisti. The villa was perfect for us and Solmar were on hand to help with any questions. We loved the view of the sea, the infinity pool and access to our own jetty. Despite being the top villa it was only a short walk down to the shore and there was plenty of room for guests (from the three villas with access) to enjoy the space. We were pleased to have a car as it wasn’t really feasible to walk into Sivota. We didn’t find a taxi but one restaurant in Sivota was happy to pick us up in the golf buggy. Great! We had a fabulous holiday and would love to come back.

The area where the villa is situated is hilly and mountainous. To access the villa there is a path which is 150cm wide, leading to 16 steps to the front door, the front door is 76cm wide. The lounge and kitchen/dining room doors are 76cm wide. To access the pool/terrace area there is a door which is 138cm wide. There are two steps leading to the terrace area, the outside grounds are uneven. The pool has steps. There are no bedrooms or bathrooms on the ground floor level. There are 15 steps leading to the first floor level. The bedroom and bathroom doors are 80cm wide.
