Villa Ledaki Overview
A perfect secluded retreat for couples, Villa Ledaki is sure to become one of our most popular small villas for discerning clients. The exceptional setting in large private grounds, tucked away in secluded olive groves and yet only a short stroll downhill to the rather chic harbour of Sivota with its’ much sought-after selection of shops, restaurants and waterside café bars makes it that perfect combination of being close to everything but hidden away!
The spacious open plan interiors of this idyllic hideaway are finished in a modern contemporary style, whilst the exteriors have been cleverly designed to combine traditional stone and wood features so that Ledaki perfectly blends into its setting – however modern twists are evident in the choice of outdoor and poolside furniture and the al fresco dining area.
In addition, a glistening swimming pool set to the side of the house into stone paved terraces also offers a built-in barbecue and from here, as from all the terrace areas you can enjoy stunning views down to the harbour of what is probably the most picturesque fishing village of in the area.
Just ten minutes stroll from Ledaki, Sivota has evolved over recent years and has become a firm favourite with the yachting fraternity, the traditional charms and warm hospitality of the local families remain unchanged, resulting in a particularly high percentage of repeat guests visiting this engaging and colourful seaside village every year.
We feel sure that, although the interiors of Ledaki are comfortable and attractive, it is the outside setting that will make it hard to leave this lovely spot…many hours are bound to be wiled away just enjoying the peace, soaking up the sun and drinking in the views whilst sipping on a cold beer or glass of wine and devouring that book you have been waiting to read!

Resort Description
Sivota is quite possibly the prettiest fishing village you are likely to come across. Located in the south east corner of Lefkas, Sivota boasts one of the prettiest and most colourful little natural harbours we have ever encountered.
For enthusiastic photographers, you’ll have a hard time convincing your friends that your images have not been photo shopped, such are the vivid contrasts between the green olive groves that tumble down to the water’s edge of the aqua marine cobalt blue waters of this stunning scene. Simply stunning.
Sivota has evolved over recent years and has become a firm favourite with the yachting fraternity, who enjoy mooring in the idyllic harbour of an evening and of course, who equally enjoy hopping ashore on their tender dinghies and dining in one of the many excellent seafood restaurants and trendy café bars that have sprung up over the years.

The villa was not clean and just as an example, all the cutlery and cups and glasses had to be washed before they were fit for use. The sandwich maker was full of food and unusable. I realise this is the fault of previous occupants, but clearly the cleaning is not up to standard. The fitted sheets for the bed were too small for the bed, so until the maid changed them mid week, it was extremely uncomfortable. The villa was also extremely noisy as building demolition was taking place slightly up the valley starting at 7.30am every day, so added to the motorbikes facing up the road, this is not a peaceful villa location.
Solmar response - Thank you for your review. We regret that you should have encountered some issues at the Ledaki and hope they did not cause your enjoyment of your holiday to be spoilt. We note that our UK Resolution team have been in contact with you. We hope that we will have the chance to be of service to you again soon.

A beautiful location, and an idyllic villa. Our only thoughts are that it's a little tired. The facilities in the villa are pretty basic, especially considering it's high price. Just little stuff, like the cheapest of kettles and oven that could have been better. Glassware that matched, a bottle opener that works.. that sort of thing. There were a couple of issues that were totally outside of the control of the rep, (a power supply failure that affected the whole town, and a Wifi failure caused by a lightning strike), and the rep Trish was great at keeping us informed and chasing progress. Also, be aware that the included car hire will require you to give your credit card, and they will 'block' a large sum of money from it as your excess', unless you take out an indemnity insurance.... in our case, over two weeks, they would have blocked around 750 euros, and we had to pay 90 euros on the insurance to stop this as we couldn't afford to have that amount of money stopped from our account and still have a holiday. So you may want to put the excess onto a separate card, or be prepared to pay extra.

Villa Ledaki fitted our needs exactly! Well equipped, comfortable bed (very important), plenty of outside space and places to sit with a fab view down to the harbour. Lovely pool, quiet. A bit of road noise during the day but all quiet at night. We were also impressed with the mid week cleaning which is something you don’t expect with only a one week rental! Easy 5 minute walk to lovely Sivota, little more challenging uphill back! Would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at villa ledaki in may 2019 for 10 days. The weather wasn't great and the nights were cold and there was no form of heating although extra blankets was provided. The villa was clean as was the pool area. Only a short walk down to the harbour where there are a few bars, restaurants and a supermarket. There is quite a hike getting back to the villa we are in our fifties and fairly fit but found it tiring. There is wifi but no connection inside the villa you have to go outside as the router is in villa Leda next door. The villa is very private and not overlooked although there are a few dogs in the area which like to wake you up each morning. Thankfully the villa has screened doors and windows to keep the mosquitoes out. We had free car hire and as we didn't arrive till the early hours the villa was difficult to find, if you are using sat nav it would help if you search dream view villas as this is next door to Ledaki and also take a torch. I would definitely recommend hiring a car we would have been stuck with out one and there are some beautiful palaces to visit. The villa has everything you need but doesn't have a washing machine. Overall we had a lovely time at villa Ledaki and would definitely recommend it.

Perfect for what we needed, this villa is ideal for a couple to relax by the pool or chill on the terrace. I would highly recommend this villa and would definitely return in the future. It is very private and not overlooked. It is also very functional with a very nice bathroom and great shower to a functional kitchen. Sivota is a 5-10 min walk And has some lovely restaurants with amazing food and fresh fish caught daily. Overall this was a lovely week and our choice of villa was spot on for our budget and needs. Highly recommended.

The villa was a little slice of heaven! Perfect for the two of us, everything you could need inside the villa and the outside was spectacular. The pool was small but perfectly adequate (and a little cold, but it was mid May!) and the view was amazing. Lots of areas to sit outside if you wanted sun or shade and good quality sun beds. There is nothing I would change about the villa (other than the steep climb back up the drive but then you wouldn't get the fabulous views!) and I would not hesitate to recommend it to my family and friends.

Villa Ledaki was beautifully designed and furnished, had everything, including a hairdryer and insect screens on all the windows, a relief for me as the mosquitos like me too much. Lovely terrace and pool area with plenty of shade if needed, set amongst the olive grove and only 5 mins walk down to Sivota harbour with all the boats and tavernas. An attractive low key place, popular with the yachting fraternity, Sivota was lovely in the evening watching the sun go down whilst having a meal and cold beer. Then only a short walk back to the villa, up hill a bit, but not too steep, take a torch though. A larger villa (Leda) is next door up the same steep driveway, but it is set far away enough and there's trees etc to afford enough privacy between the two villas. The road into Sivota is in front of the villa, but it's not busy and far away enough not to be annoying. I like peace and quiet and I found it okay. The local dogs however, can get annoying at times with bouts of barking, but this is Greece and it comes with the territory. We had a lovely stay here, couldn't fault it. There's even Internet, there was a problem with this after a storm, but the owner got it sorted. You need to sit outside on the covered balcony area to get the best signal, it doesn' t work in the villa because I think the modem is located in villa Leda. It's perfect for a couple or maybe couple with small child or baby, we highly recommend it if you want to be away from it all, have your own space ( there's plenty of it) but be near enough to walk out and eat. Need a car though to explore rest of the island.
