Just over 30 minutes’ drive from the Airport, Trapezaki is a quiet area located on a steep olive clad hillside in the shade of Mount Aenos. Half way between the Town of Argostoli and the resort of Skala, the busier resort of Lourdas is close by which offers a larger choice of facilities and a long sandy beach.

Trapezaki is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday. There is a scattering of small mini markets and a few tavernas on the hillside near to the villas and a peaceful bay with a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear waters ideal for swimming, backed by a good beachside restaurant. You can find some beautiful unspoilt areas within Trapazaki Bay and the views from the villas are second to none offering the most incredible panoramic views over the Ionian Sea.

The villa itself is a very beautiful building in a good location. The problems with it is very bad maintainance. Initialy we had a plague of ants, on reporting this via Solmar a can of ant powder was handed to us to sort the problem ouselves. A broken fly screen which indicated an attempt to break in was reported to the onsite villa team and nothing was done about it at all (In 4 weeks). On top of that the items requiring attention were many, The parasols were dangerously broken, The flex on the iron dangerous, Washing Machine in need of repair, Broken toilet seat fixing, Microwave timer inoperative. I could go on but I do not see the point. A full breakdown will be sent to Solmar in the near future.
