What a view from this amazing contemporary paradise! Three-bedroom Villa Aris sits perched on a hillside overlooking views of Kefalonias' clear waters and sloping hills. Built on a verdant landscape, the villa is newly built with exemplary design throughout. Everything from the light grey façade, mosaic tiled pool to the large sliding glass doors screams modern elegance.
With a dramatic backdrop, there is plenty of room for outdoor fun, with lots of sun loungers, parasols, a hanging egg chair and a separate pergola dining area. All affording uninterrupted views of the Ionian Sea.
The villa makes full use of the sunshine with lots of glass and light décor throughout. Think ash wooden flooring and cool linens sofas, archways leading through to a relaxing dining table and chairs. The bedrooms are immaculate, with well-appointed lighting and floor to ceiling windows to drink in that amazing view! The bathrooms are decked out in five-star style, with kooky accents such as the cactus relief tiles and the tree table.
Although there is a mini-market and local restaurant nearby, if you want to explore the neighbouring resort of Lourdas, we’d recommend hiring a car.
Usual day is Sundays.

Kefalonia International Airport (EFL)
Just over 30 minutes’ drive from the Airport, Trapezaki is a quiet area located on a steep olive clad hillside in the shade of Mount Aenos. Half way between the Town of Argostoli and the resort of Skala, the busier resort of Lourdas is close by which offers a larger choice of facilities and a long sandy beach.
Trapezaki is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday. There is a scattering of small mini markets and a few tavernas on the hillside near to the villas and a peaceful bay with a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear waters ideal for swimming, backed by a good beachside restaurant. You can find some beautiful unspoilt areas within Trapazaki Bay and the views from the villas are second to none offering the most incredible panoramic views over the Ionian Sea.

The villa is out of this world! the pool is amazing as are the views. We literally had to pinch ourselves every morning at the stunning outlook. The villa had everything we needed, we just wish we could have picked it up and plonked it in a more happening resort. A car is absolutely essential. We had to do more driving that we wanted as our 3 girls were ready for a change of scene after a morning by the pool. Beaches not realistically walk-able.

Beautiful modern villa in a a fabulous location, if you like peace and quiet, but still within walking distance of a mini market, the beach and a few tavernas. The hill is quite steep coming back from these though, so it can be a drag in the heat, but we drove down which is a two minute drive. As we hired a car, we drove to Argostoli on a few evenings (20 minute vey easy drive) which had a multitude of restaurants and shops and a great atmosphere. The villa itself was fabulous and the outside areas are kept immaculately clean, the pool in particular was spotless. The views were stunning. We had such a fantastic time, we would definitely return.

illa Aris was just amazing! We had the perfect family holiday, the villa, the island - just everything was great. The villa facilities were all as advertised, the pool and views overlooking the sea and Zakynthos in the distance was just magical. We spent many evenings watching cruise ships sail past. The maids are so thoughtful and our kids loved how they dressed their beds (and made their pjs look pretty) The island of Kefalonia is magical, retaining Greek traditions and charm whilst being welcoming. All the restaurants and locals loved the kids and so thoughtful in all they do. The local restaurants in Trapezaki serve some amazing food too. Couldn’t fault it at all. Samantha the rep was always on hand when we needed her and great for recommending local places to visit & restaurants. We went to the Greek night at Andromeda after her recommendation & we all ended up joining in! Thanks Solmar, great holiday!

Beautiful villa with amazing views. Everything you need for a perfect holiday. It would have been nice to have had shade over the dining table outside as lunchtime it was too hot to use. The pool is perfect . Deep end 1.5 not 1.8 as stated. Excellent supermarket within walking distance but sea too far and too steep to walk there and back. Linen change was a bit erratic. It would have been good if we had known what days it would be. Minor points though on an amazing holiday.

Villa Aris is a beautiful villa on a very steep hill. A tough walk to the supermarket & taverna nearby in the summer heat, not for the feint hearted! Beach in our opinion too far to walk. As far as location goes we thought maybe a little isolated for us & would have preferred a few more facilities closed by.

Villa Aris is a piece of heaven. Large and airy the villa offers a simple but high quality place to enjoy. The garden area is very generous, safe for children and offer beautiful views over to Zante in one direction and a spectacular mountain backdrop in the other. The access is very steep but once inside the gates you feel very private, and all the roads on this lovely island are interesting! We highly recommend this as a holiday base as we found all the island easy to drive to from here.

Fabulous modern villa beautifully decorated and comfortable. The views are amazing. You need a car if staying here - we parked in the space below the villa as getting into the drive was tricky and also meant opening and closing two gates. I would definitely stay again!
