Villas in Ai Helis 2026/2027

Ai Helis is a sleepy coastal area just south of the traditional village of Svoronata in Leivathos and only around 15 minutes drive from the capital town, Argostoli. Ai Helis offers a glorious deep bay of golden sand and shallow crystal clear water gazing out at the tiny islet of Zeus and backed by cliffs. Along the cliff edge are some very exclusive Greek summer homes and holiday villas.

The beach offers a small snack bar in high summer as well as sunbeds and parasols for rent and it is popular for beach volley games in the late afternoon. Just inland are a smattering of tavernas, restaurants and a couple of mini markets to choose from all within a few minutes easy stroll along country lanes whilst the larger supermarkets are just a short drive away.  Apart from Argostoli itself there are also a few places of interest within 10 minutes drive of Ai Helis – including the Castle of St. George and St. Andreas Monastery which are both well worth a visit. For a change of scenery, the stunning beaches of Avithos, Megalipetra and Ammes are close by to name just a few.
