If a laid-back tempo is your thing then a villa holiday to Gennadi is an excellent choice. Once a small fishing hamlet, this traditional village is today a fantastic area to make base for your holiday in Rhodes thanks to its spectacular sandy beach and variety of restaurants. Gennadi sets just the right balance of traditional and authenticity along with a modern, up-and-coming vibe, with restaurants, shops and a bakery surrounding a pretty village square. The beach itself is around one kilometre downhill and is perhaps the most beautfiful in all of Rhodes. The six kilometre stretch of sand and fine pebbles along the southeast corner of the island includes beachfront bars and seafood stalls and has the prestigious Blue-Flag status. Gennadi is ideally situated close to Lindos, the 'Jewel in Rhodes' Crown' with its ancient acropolis and beautiful whitewashed buildings.

Everything was amazing from the Villa itself to the people running it, Rocco the pool cleaner was lovely as was Liza the property caretaker! The only problem we had was ants inside the property on the last night in one of the bedrooms, other than that it was an amazing place to stay. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean modern villa in good location walking distance to small village with good few choices of restaurants & shops . Not too far to drive North to Rodos old town & Lindos -well worth a visit -Rep was very helpful & took on board my suggestions for small tweaks that would make Villa living a little easier ie Draining board for dishes ,nonstick pans & small tables for outdoors between the sun beds -even saw some Deer in front of the villa -highly recommended accommodation & location

The villa is lovely and situated in a fantastic location. In a short walk you can be in the village or beach. The village has lots of lovely restaurants mostly on one road and a supermarket, bakery and fruit/veg shop in a 5/10 minute walk from the Villa. The people of Gennadi were so friendly and welcoming and the restaurants have live music some nights which make for a great atmosphere. We had a couple of niggles with the villa but Solmar sorted everything straight away, great communication and the maintenance staff, Rocco was absolutely lovely and so helpful. We were sad to come home.

The area of the resort where this villa is located is quite mountainous and there are steep hills throughout. To access the villa the path is 100cm wide with 3 steps up to the villa. The front door has a width of 82cm, other access doors are also 82cm wide. The pool has steps access and the terrace is generally flat. Inside the villa, the bedroom with the widest access measures 63cm and the bathroom with the widest access also measures 63cm. This is a single-storey villa.
