One of the largest villages of Rhodes, Afandou is located on the east coast and not far from the resorts of Faliraki and Rhodes Town. A lovely square can be discovered in the heart of the village, a wide selection of shops, bars, café and traditional Taverna restaurants. A popular resort and only 1km to the Blue Flag beach along the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, which can be accessed by a mini-train in the peak months. A must see is the beautiful Church of Our Lady Katholiki and the only golf course on the island, Afandou Golf is also located close to the village.

Only just booked holiday, but all good so far. Phoned for advice, call was answered quickly and query resolved. Booked online and there was an issue with flights not appearing on confirmation. Called again, picked up straight away and advised flights would be added manually on system. They appeared almost immediately with follow up email, so very impressed with service. Looking forward to holiday and receiving additional information from their ‘concierge service’. If the rest of the holiday process is as good as the initial booking, I’ll recommend without hesitation.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.

This villa is in a mostly flat area. To access the villa there is a 220cm wide path and 1 step. The front door has a width of 126cm. The door to the terrace is 87cm wide. There is 1 step down through the door to the terrace, the terrace around the pool is flat and paved, then there are 5 steps down to the lower terrace and garden. There are 9 steps or a ladder into the pool. The lounge/kitchen area is open plan, the door to this area is 116cm wide. All bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The widest ground floor bedroom door is 74cm wide, and the door to the shower room is 74cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
