Tsoukalades is a beautiful example of traditional Ionian architecture, with its narrow streets made up of quaint stone-built houses tiled with lemon-coloured roofs. You’ll find a scattering of family-run taverns along the main street, all offering succulent homemade regional dishes. The best place to be on sunny days is at its pretty beach, a peaceful swim spot with a small sweep of golden sand flanked by calm, sparkling blue waters.

Although nestled away from the hustle and bustle, you’re just a short drive away from the most popular resorts in Lefkas. The thriving fishing village of Agios Nikitas is just a short drive away, with beach bars, cafes, and restaurants peppered around its crescent-shaped beach. You can’t miss visiting the island’s bustling capital, Lefkada Town. A hive of activity, from its sleek marina lined with restaurants and bars, to its stunning 14th century fortified castle, to its vibrant shopping streets.

What a fabulous villa! We would definitely stay there again. The villa was modern and had everything we needed. The veranda was very spacious with a dining table, comfortable seating area with table (which we ate at every night), gas BBQ, good size infinity swimming pool and 3 sun loungers. The views were tremendous and the sunsets out of this world. We didn't hear anyone in the other villas until the last night but it didn't last long. We ate in the villa every night except one, the cooker was good and there was a microwave too, as well as kettle, toaster and sandwich toaster. We used the BBQ quite a few times too. There are quite a few supermarkets in Lefkada only 15 mins drive away (including a Lidl!). The bedrooms and bathrooms were of good size and there was AC throughout the villa. The villa was on a hillside so you would need a car to get out and about. In my opinion the hill was too steep to walk up. The nearby village of Tsoukalades had a few restaurants and a couple of mini markets, bakery, coffee/drinks shop. There were quite a few beaches only a small drive away, although Tsoukalades beach was a bit tricky to get to and not much parking. We would recommend going to beaches early to get parked. The sea is so beautiful you definitely need to go in for a swim, although you would need beach shoes as the beaches are either pebbly or very very tiny stones, like huge sand! All in all we had a fantastic week and didn't want to come home.

The villa was very comfortable and the outside space was lovely. The short drive off-road to get to the parking space had a lot of pit holes. It would be very helpful if this could be improved.

Please note, this villa is in a hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide alongside 24 steps. There is also a ramp to the front door. The front door has a width of 90cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 200cm wide. Overall, the entrance to the villa is steep, but the surrounding terrace is flat. The pool itself has step access. This is a ground-floor property. The master double bedroom door is 80cm wide, whilst the ensuite door is 70cm wide. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 80cm wide and the door into the lounge area is also 80cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
