Kos Town offers a perfect mix of everything you could want from a Greek Island holiday – from a city centre beach, cool bars and a vibrant shopping scene. Wander through the twisting, charming old town, where every crevice is etched with history. The Romans, Ottomans and Italians have all left their stamp here in the architecture and archaeological ruins, whilst the 15th century castle showcases its Medieval roots. Stop off at its landmark plane tree – a historic spot where Hippocrates is said to have taught medicine to his students. If you’re seeking a thrill, drop into the after-dark scene at a themed bar or neon-lit nightclub, where you can sip cocktails or taste local beers. Tasty seafood restaurants and local wineries are all up for grabs by the harbour, or head to the warren of narrow streets to find Greek taverns and charming coffee shops. Draped in front of the castle’s Medieval walls, Zouroudi Beach is a sublime mix of sand and pebbles flanked by calm waters and sun loungers. If you’re after an uncrowded piece of coast, a twenty-minute walk takes you to the serene shingly shores of Psalidi.

Only just booked holiday, but all good so far. Phoned for advice, call was answered quickly and query resolved. Booked online and there was an issue with flights not appearing on confirmation. Called again, picked up straight away and advised flights would be added manually on system. They appeared almost immediately with follow up email, so very impressed with service. Looking forward to holiday and receiving additional information from their ‘concierge service’. If the rest of the holiday process is as good as the initial booking, I’ll recommend without hesitation.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.
