Just over 30 minutes’ drive from the Airport, Trapezaki is a quiet area located on a steep olive clad hillside in the shade of Mount Aenos. Half way between the Town of Argostoli and the resort of Skala, the busier resort of Lourdas is close by which offers a larger choice of facilities and a long sandy beach.

Trapezaki is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday. There is a scattering of small mini markets and a few tavernas on the hillside near to the villas and a peaceful bay with a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear waters ideal for swimming, backed by a good beachside restaurant. You can find some beautiful unspoilt areas within Trapazaki Bay and the views from the villas are second to none offering the most incredible panoramic views over the Ionian Sea.

The villa was well equipped, clean and spacious for two people. It was close to the road, however there is not a great deal of traffic going past and very few people walking past. Pool was clean and nice to be able to sit out at night with a seating area next to pool.

Villa Maria Theo was beautiful- exactly as shown in the pictures- but sadly we found both the sofa and the sofabed (although both new) too hard/springy which made relaxing indoors difficult. The owners were great and bought a mattress protector over for the bed which helped but didnâ€™t solve the issue completely. The pool and outdoor furniture were spot on!A previous review mentions the road in front of the pool. Whilst the pool directly overlooks the road we didnâ€™t find this too much of a problem as traffic was intermittent

The villa is on one level. To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide, leading to the front door which is 90cm wide. The lounge door is 80cm wide and the kitchen/dining room is 90cm wide. To access the pool/terrace area there is a door which is 100cm wide, the path to the pool is 100cm wide. The outside grounds are flat and paved. The pool has steps. The bedroom doors are 80cm wide and the bathroom doors are 70cm wide, this is a shower type bathroom.
