Sitting on the southwest coast of Kefalonia, the lush countryside backdrop is made up of verdant greenery and rolling hills. The streets are covered with whitewashed buildings and family-run tavernas with vines and flowers climbing up the walls, giving you a glimpse into the local Greek way of life. With a string of idyllic sandy beaches just a short walking distance away, lazy beach days are the top activity on the itinerary at Svoronata. Dinnertime can be spent tucking into some authentic Greek cuisine or listening to the waves lapping the sand at a beachfront restaurant overlooking the glistening seascape. For a livelier nightlife where you can dance until the early hours of the morning, the nearby town of Lassi is just a 10-minute taxi ride away.

Step back in time to the time of the Renaissance with a visit to the striking St George’s Castle, which is just a short drive away. Immerse yourself in the breath-taking nature with a hike up Mount Ainos or delve into the rural vineyards with a wine-tasting tour. You’ll find some water sports along the beachfront, but drive to Lassi and splash away with sailing, jet skiing, and snorkelling.

Only just booked holiday, but all good so far. Phoned for advice, call was answered quickly and query resolved. Booked online and there was an issue with flights not appearing on confirmation. Called again, picked up straight away and advised flights would be added manually on system. They appeared almost immediately with follow up email, so very impressed with service. Looking forward to holiday and receiving additional information from their ‘concierge service’. If the rest of the holiday process is as good as the initial booking, I’ll recommend without hesitation.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.

The front door has a width of 90cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 180cm wide. The terrace is open-plan, flat with stepping stones to the poolside. The pool sits within a lawned area. The pool itself has step access. There is a slight lip over the patio doorframes. This is a ground-floor property. All bedrooms have a door width of 90cm, whilst all bathrooms have a door width of 70cm.
