A medium sized quiet family resort on the south coast between Argostoli and Skala, the Bay of Lourdas boasts a long glorious sandy beach, along with some some pebbly sections and a calming crystal clear blue sea.

Mount Aenos towers behind and our villas are located in beautiful wooded areas offering fantastic sea views. There are a few shops, Minimarkets and several cafés and bars and the choice of restaurants covers traditional Greek family restaurants, fish and seafood restaurants and International cuisine. A good selection of restaurants, both on the beach front and up in the village centre as well as clinging to the steep hillside separates the beach from the main road and gives holidaymakers plenty of choice.

The villa was spotlessly maintained and looked exactly as it does in the promotional pictures. We visited early to mid October and found that some of the restaurants had closed for the season, so something for those travelling in shoulder season to be aware of. We also very much enjoyed making friends with the owners two young cats who came by to visit most days. So well behaved and completely adorable! We were very sad to leave on departure day and hope to visit again soon!

Villa was very clean and well equipped but beds/pillows were a little uncomfortable and the towels were quite shabby. The location is fine if you have a car but probably a bit remote if you didn’t. The nearest beach is around 1.5 miles away, it’s downhill all the way, and would be a real challenge to get back if you were walking. The pool area was very nice, with an outdoor table and a barbecue area and another table to the rear. Whilst the TV had a DVD player and satellite, I couldn’t get either to work. There was a satellite remote, but not sure if there was even a receiver (which could be why I couldn’t get any satellite channels) It’s a nice Villa with everything you need but could do with a little revamp, especially some of the linen.

We had a fantastic time - all we would recommend is that they had solar panels to heat the pool - would have been used so much more - A car is a must to see the lovely parts of the island-

To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide, there are no steps to the front door, the front door is 80cm wide. The lounge door is 100cm wide and the kitchen/dining room door is 100cm wide. To access the pool/terrace area there is a door which is 100cm wide, the path to the pool is 100cm wide. The pool/terrace grounds are flat and even. The pool has steps. There is 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom on the ground floor level, the bedroom door is 75cm wide and the bathroom door is 70cm wide, it is a separate bathroom. There are 17 steps leading to the first floor level, on this level there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The bedroom doors are 75cm wide, the bathroom doors are 70cm wide. It is a separate bathroom.
