You will be able to request a full refund of the price paid for your villa booking, if on your date of travel, the following conditions are met:

Villa Riaki Overview
Villa Riaki is set in a generous private garden, offering open sea views whilst only being a few minutes walk down a sandy path to the natural beach at Megalipetra. The main terrace and pool offer fantastic views along the coastline to Avithos bay with the dramatic cliffs backing the beach, but also encompassing the surrounding countryside and taking in the mountainous area that backs Leivathos. The villa itself has been furnished in pastel tones and provides the perfect setting for a relaxing break.
Due to the second bedroom and bathroom with kitchenette being reached via an external staircase and the property containing ladder effect balconies we don’t feel this property is suitable for families travelling with younger children.

The path to access the villa is 350cm wide with 16 entrance steps. The front door width is 85cm and other doors to access the pool area are 300cm. Any paths from the villa to the pool are 900cm with flat tiled ground. Entrance into the pool are roman steps with no handle. The widest ground floor bedroom door is 75cm and the widest bath shower room door is 65cm also being on the ground floor. Avithos is the ideal choice for your Greek Island holiday if you are looking for fabulous beaches, great tavernas, beautiful coastal and mountain scenery, easy walking on quiet country lanes but still just a short drive to the island's capital.
Situated on the southern coast of Kefalonia, just a few kilometres from the airport and Argostoli, Ai Avithos is located in the area known locally as Leivathos – made up of picturesque villages and some gorgeous sandy beaches. There are also a good few attractions in this area such as the Castle of St.George, atop its acropolis and offering superb views all over the area – well worth a visit as is the Monastery of St. Andreas.
Avithos beach is a long strip of sand, with some shingle or stones depending on the weather of the previous winter – looking out to the tiny islet of Zeus and backed by two excellent tavernas where locally delicacies and fresh fish can be enjoyed. The beach itself offers a super beach bar with snacks, cold drinks and coffees, and comfortable sunbeds are available to rent. The village of Svoronata – just a 15 minute walk from Avithos offers more restaurants, a couple of bars, a petrol station and the local minimarket so all necessities are close to hand. Even the local “drive in” in supermarkets are all within a short drive of this area, but once back at your villa all is peace and quiet whilst you just enjoy the wonderful views!

Very nice villa, garden and pool in beautiful setting. Some aspects a bit dated , e.g. tiled floor in lower bathroom. For what we paid, I would have expected the toilet paper to be replenished on the cleaning days, and for kitchen roll to be provided. I would also have expected more toiletries than a few miniature bars of soap. There were problems with wi-fi - see below. Overall, though, we were very pleased with our choice of villa and would certainly consider booking again.

Great location with an easy walk to two excellent tavernas and two beautiful beaches. There are also a further four good tavernas and a well stocked supermarket (Sagittarius) within a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Panoramic views from the villa are stunning and the pool area is an ideal space to spend a relaxing holiday.

The view is indescribable! The villa is in good condition. Everything is there, what is needed. The second bedroom and bathroom are in the basement and only accessible through a separate access. Ideal for 2 couples - not for family with small children. We had only 2 days a rental car. The villa is rather remote, so a rental car makes sense. There are a few taverns in the area which unfortunately had closed at our travel time. The beaches (Avithos beach, Ammes) are beautiful and not crowded. A dream vacation with absolute relaxation factor! Thanks also for the nice contact with our representative Samantha, who was always available for us and helped us.

Absolutley loved our time at the villa - the views are amazing and the Villa is beautiful, amazing ceilings in the living room and the main bedroom. The villa is a little way away from a main town so would recommend a car, but the nearby beach bar and tavernas are just a few minutes walk.

You often see great photos on websites only to be disappointed when you get there. Not with this villa it's in a great position with lovely views. The very pretty beach is just a short walk away and couple of tavernas also just a short walk away but we did hire a car and it's well worth it. The villa has everything you need and we both really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
