Avithos is the ideal choice for your Greek Island holiday if you are looking for fabulous beaches, great tavernas, beautiful coastal and mountain scenery, easy walking on quiet country lanes but still just a short drive to the island's capital.
Situated on the southern coast of Kefalonia, just a few kilometres from the airport and Argostoli, Ai Avithos is located in the area known locally as Leivathos – made up of picturesque villages and some gorgeous sandy beaches. There are also a good few attractions in this area such as the Castle of St.George, atop its acropolis and offering superb views all over the area – well worth a visit as is the Monastery of St. Andreas.
Avithos beach is a long strip of sand, with some shingle or stones depending on the weather of the previous winter – looking out to the tiny islet of Zeus and backed by two excellent tavernas where locally delicacies and fresh fish can be enjoyed. The beach itself offers a super beach bar with snacks, cold drinks and coffees, and comfortable sunbeds are available to rent. The village of Svoronata – just a 15 minute walk from Avithos offers more restaurants, a couple of bars, a petrol station and the local minimarket so all necessities are close to hand. Even the local “drive in” in supermarkets are all within a short drive of this area, but once back at your villa all is peace and quiet whilst you just enjoy the wonderful views!

The path to access the villa is 350cm wide with 16 entrance steps. The front door width is 85cm and other doors to access the pool area are 300cm. Any paths from the villa to the pool are 900cm with flat tiled ground. Entrance into the pool are roman steps with no handle. The widest ground floor bedroom door is 75cm and the widest bath shower room door is 65cm also being on the ground floor. The door width into the kitchen is 150cm. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
