We have user Solmar villa many time over the year without issue. For the first time we have had to contact there support while on holiday as we experienced a power outage. Thankfully this was resolved the same day and did not spoil our holiday. Villa Forteza is in a quiet location over looked by a villa on either side. We did not cook on our stay but the kitchen had a good selection of utensils. The pool area had a barbecue and an outdoor fridge to save going indoor with wet feet for a drink, pool towel were also provided. Shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom was a pain. cling to you while showering. The wifi was terrible and non existent at times. The lounge/kitchen area has no air conditioning which made it uncomfortable to sit in in the evening. The nearest supermarket is only a 5 minute drive and a couple of minutes more take you to a small town with a selection of restaurants and shops, butchers, bakers etc.

The house was generally very nice and comfortable, but we experienced a few issues during our stay. On one hand, we were without water for a whole day, which was an unexpected inconvenience. On the other hand, we also felt some stress regarding the cleaning service. According to the information provided, there were three scheduled cleaning days: Thursday for cleaning, Friday for changing sheets, and Sunday for cleaning again. This caused some uncertainty, as we had to leave the house before 10 a.m. on those days. However, we found out that the cleaning did not take place on Thursday, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable due to the lack of clear communication about the service. Additionally, we missed having more cleaning supplies available, such as a cleaning cloth, toilet paper, and garbage bags to replace, as we ran out of these during our stay. It would be advisable to improve communication regarding the cleaning schedule and provide more basic supplies to avoid these small inconveniences, helping guests to plan their stay without stress. Despite these issues, our overall experience was positive and the house met our expectations.

This villa is in a hillside location with inclines. To access the villa there is a path which is 200cm wide alongside 7 steps. The front door has a width of 80cm, whilst the door to the terrace is also 80cm wide. The terrace is uneven, and a mixture of lawn and tiles. To reach the pool area, it is necessary to use steps either externally or internally. The pool itself has ladder access. This property is on three levels. There are 17 steps to the first floor, where the bedroom door is 65cm wide, and the bathroom door is 55cm wide. The door into the kitchen/lounge is 80cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
