Villa Sunset Lygaria has the feel of a much-loved family home with plenty of space both inside and out. Rooms comprise three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a main living area with a spacious lounge, kitchen, and dining area, all combining modern amenities with traditional furniture. The extensive gardens boast a private pool and a basketball court for hours of fun! The large brick-built barbecue compliments al fresco dining and there is even a small private church, which adds an authentic Greek feel to the grounds.

The nearby family beach resort of Agia Pelagia is just a short drive away and the villa is excellently positioned for relaxing or sightseeing around this fascinating part of Crete. The beach and amenities of Lygaria can be found just a 15-minute downhill stroll away, while the striking surrounding mountains and rocky hillsides protect the bay from north winds, making it a great choice for sea lovers.

Please note, this villa is in a hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide alongside 3 steps. The front door has a width of 76cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 100cm wide. There are a number of steps around the exterior of this property, however these are minimal. Overall the terrace is flat. There are no ground floor bedrooms. There are 18 steps to the first floor where bedroom 3 has a door width of 80cm, however the bathroom door is only 67cm wide. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 76cm wide and the door into the lounge area is also 100cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.

A small coastal town and seaside resort just 20 kilometres from the capital of Crete, Heraklion. Agia Pelagia offers a small beach offering water sports and diving opportunities and a good choice of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops; but no raucous nightlife, it is mainly a family beach resort, excellently positioned for just relaxing or sightseeing around this fascinating part of Crete.

Just east of Agia Pelagia is the sandy beach of Lygaria, where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds, or dine at the beach front tavernas. Fortunately Lygaria is protected from the north winds so the sea in the bay is normally calm.
