Villa Athina is simply spectacular! The location has to be as near to perfect as it is possible to get. Anotoliko, as this area is known, is home to a handful of exclusive sea side villas all within close distance of Kassiopi with it's charming harbour.
This beautiful property is reached by a steep driveway from the edge of the harbour, never fear – the owner of Athina has thoughtfully provided a path from the villa down to a gate which leads onto the coastal footpath, giving very easy access to the small beaches below Athina and the harbour itself. Athina stands proudly in large lawned gardens, looking east across to the mountains of Albania and south to Avlaki beach. The glorious gated pool is placed to grab the sun, and offer the full glory of these wonderful views whilst being very private. The villas impossibly spacious main living areas being on the upper ground floor are designed to allow large parties to “spread” out to enjoy the endless balconies and terraces, all featuring panoramic sea views.
Inside, the villa is spread over three floors with the main open plan living area on the first floor featuring large glass doors to make the most of the sea views. A well equipped kitchen is also located on this floor featuring all the mod cons you may require and a wine fridge handy for chilling those local bottles ready for al fresco dining. A second lounge area as well as a games room with pool table are located on the ground floor, perfect for families to spread out, and this floor leads straight out to the garden and barbecue area. Every bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom and access to a balcony, and the second floor of the villa is dedicated to a lovely master bedroom with Jacuzzi bath, as well as a balcony overlooking the harbour. The décor throughout mixes modern and classic in a complimentary way, giving an overall feeling of opulence and comfort. Outside, a generous lawn area borders the villa, and from here just a few steps take you up to the larger-than-average swimming pool which is gated; ideal for families with young children.

The area where the villa is situated is fairly hilly and mountainous, there is a steep hill from the villa to the local village. The villa is on one level, to gain access there is one step to the front door, the front door is 90cm wide.The villa is on one level. The lounge and kitchen/dining room is open plan. To access the pool/terrace area there are 6 steps up, the area around the pool is flat but is only accesible by going up these steps, there is a handrail. Kassiopi, at the northern tip of the North East coast of Corfu is a busy harbour and a thriving resort. The attractive paved harbour is ringed by shops and restaurants (and a few bars) and the constant comings and goings in the harbour will give hours of entertainment once in your holiday “laid back” frame of mind!
A great choice for all ages, Kassiopi is particularly appreciated by families with young adults in their group as there is just enough in the way of nightlife to keep them happy but all very close to home and secure. For the entire family there is an excellent selection of restaurants catering for all tastes, some very pleasant bars and cafés and a really good selection of shops – Kassiopi boasts jewellery shops, lace and embroidered linen, ceramics as well as souvenir shops of the more traditional kind and even a couple of boutiques. Of course there are several supermarkets, a fishmonger, a couple of butchers and several bakers to cater for all your daily needs.
Kassiopi is also great for water based activities – hire a self-drive boat from the harbour and explore the coastline or take a captained boat trip further afield. On the north side of the harbour (around the peninsula topped by the ruins of the Roman fortress) is the main beach which also offers water sports but to either side of the harbour you will find a plethora of tiny bays and coves to swim and sunbathe.
