Ibiza Villa Holidays

Far from its party capital image, Ibiza is one of the Balearic's best keep secrets. This cherished “White Isle” has a beautiful peaceful side within its charming villages, lush vineyards, and secluded coves. The third largest of the Balearic Islands, the landscape is blanketed with sun-drenched beaches and inviting bays. Make room for some history on your holiday with a UNESCO-listed old quarter nestled within Ibiza Town, filled with cobbled streets and churches. Raise your glass at swanky cocktail bars and or drink with the locals in traditional taverns in the lively streets of San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa. Sink into the island’s sleepy side where traditional fincas dot along pine-clad hills and the lush countryside in Es Cubells, Santa Gertrudis and Santa Eulalia. Gaze in awe at mesmerising sunsets in Port des Torrent and Sant Josep, with waterfront restaurants huddled against the serene shoreline.

More about Ibiza

This diverse island has so much more than its beats and beaches; whether you're wildlife-watching, beach-hopping, or market-shopping, Ibiza has something for everyone.

You can't afford to miss out on its shopping scene, hunt for bargains at hippie markets, or shop till you drop at upmarket boutiques.

Dotted inland, you'll find charming villages where you can get a taste of the local life, where whitewashed houses and family-run restaurants are stacked among the countryside. Ibiza Town is a stunning example of the island's rich history, with its UNESCO-listed old town inspiring visitors with its architecture and fortified walls.

It wouldn't be a holiday without a tipple; visit local vineyards to taste sweet wines or head to San Antonio for some after-dark tipples. There's even something for sports enthusiasts, from serene golf courses to exhilarating water sports.

The island's top-notch natural beauty lends itself perfectly to a wide choice of outdoor activities. Soak up the scenery while wandering on a hiking or biking trail woven between the lush green landscape and along the coastline.

The Can Marca Caves are perfect for escaping the Ibiza heat and are eerily beautiful, with the seeping daylight illuminating the cave in many colours.

Being an island, Ibiza boasts an endless list of beguiling beaches waiting to be explored. From idyllic coves and peaceful dunes to wide sandy bays flanked with cocktail bars, there's a sun-soaked stretch of sand to suit everyone.

Whether you want to relax or dive into action, you're in for a real treat on an Ibiza villa holiday.

Check out our favourite things to do in Ibiza!

With nearly 60 beaches, you're never too far from a gorgeous stretch of golden sand or a sheltered cove. To end your holiday with a splash, various water sports offer you the chance to kayak, windsurf, and stand-up paddle on the calm waters.

Benirras

Benirras beach can be a welcome escape from your lively resort, with rugged beauty and stunningly blue waters. The beach is relatively undisturbed, with small fishermen's shacks and stretches of sand.

Portinatx

The views at Portinatx will blow you out of the water, with a striking rocky coastline and crystal-clear waters. You can swim alongside the vibrant sea life on an underwater SCUBA diving adventure.

Casa Bassa

The white sands in Cala Bassa are worth sinking your toes into; they are flocked with sunbathers yearning for a serene, sun-soaked day.

Playa d'en Bossa

Families will love Playa d'en Bossa on the island's south, with the longest sandy beach flanked by shallow waters and sunbeds.

Talamanca Beach

Situated just one mile from the bustling Ibiza Town resort, Talamanca beach is a tourist favourite. With volleyball courts and watersports, there's plenty to do, including walking along the boardwalk, where there are countless restaurants and cafes.

Ibiza has a well-deserved reputation as being Europe's clubbing capital, and for those wanting a slice of the action, the resorts such as San Antonio have got you covered!

Our villas in Ibiza are dotted all around the island, meaning you can take your pick from high-octane nightlife or a more laid-back atmosphere in the quieter resorts.

Lively nightclubs

People travel worldwide to enjoy Ibiza and its many nightclubs. Underground Ibiza, Pacha and Lolas Club Eivissa offer everything you'd expect from the island. Loud music, plenty of exotic drinks and tourists galore mean you'll never get bored here.

Karaoke bars and pubs

Of course, dancing around to loud music isn't everyone's idea of fun. Luckily, Ibiza offers an assortment of karaoke bars and traditional pubs. These places serve food too, and many are family-friendly.

Popular destinations include Reflex, Alquiler Karaoke, and The Red Lion.

Whether you're looking for an authentic tiny tavern or Michelin-starred fine dining, you can find it all on this sun-kissed island. Like its Balearic neighbours, Ibiza's speciality in food is its seafood, caught fresh daily by local fishermen.

Ignite the taste buds with local bites, like the hearty Bullit de peix fish stew or the squid-based dish Arros de Matances.

Head to the shore to find beachside bars and eateries, where you can tuck into tasty tapas whilst inhaling the sea breeze.

For the sweet tooth, head to a local bakery and try the island's beloved pastry, the ensaimada served with either chocolate or cream. Refresh your palate with a granizado or horchata – the island's vitamin-drenched copy of the slushie.

Fine dining

Holidays are all about treating yourself, and you won't be disappointed with the sheer number of fine-dining restaurants around the area. Three Michelin-star restaurants are renowned for their take on Mediterranean cuisine, including La Gaia and Es Tragon.

Family-friendly restaurants

The great thing about Ibiza is its sheer amount of family-friendly restaurants. You'll find plenty on offer, from pizzerias to burger bars and curry houses. The pubs are also popular, and there are sports bars in the area too.

Cocktail bars

There's nothing better than enjoying the Spanish sunshine while sipping on an exotic cocktail. From beach bars to resorts, you'll be able to sample a range of cocktails at popular establishments such as Paradise Lost and Contrabando.

Never underestimate Ibiza. Yes, it's renowned as a party destination, but that doesn't mean there are not plenty of other things to enjoy. Ibiza is rich in culture and history; you just have to know where to look.

Ibiza old town

Take some time out from your busy beach schedule, take a step back, and binge on culture and history in Ibiza Town, or Dalt Vila, as the locals know it, an impressive fortified town surrounded by crumbling Medieval stone walls.

It even has an old quarter that's earned a place on UNESCO's World Heritage Site list, where you could spend all day wandering around its cobbled streets. Don't miss the 14th-century cathedral, built in the Catalan Gothic style, which reigns over the town.

A climb to the top is rewarded with sweeping views over the historic cityscape.

Puig des Molins

Heading away from the city, the ancient burial ground of Puig des Molins is a must-see, featuring a necropolis with thousands of mosaic-painted tombs. You'll be able to see some of the tombs, as well as marvel at the museum and all of its historical attractions.

Ibiza wears many hats, from a nature lover's paradise to a stylish celebrity hangout to a kid-friendly holiday spot. With the nightlife scene contained to one corner of the island, there are plenty of things for families to do away from the blaring Balearic beats.

As soon as the villa door swings behind you, the island has something that will provide daytime fun for all ages. Boat trips are a fantastic way to discover the island; opt for a glass-bottom boat to see the budding marine life or explore the underwater world with a snorkel trip.

Kids will be fascinated by the strangeness of life underwater, where they can get up close to a range of exotic marine animals at Aquarium Cap Blanc.

If you're tired of days at the beach, make a splash at Aguamar Waterpark in Ibiza's Playa d'en Bossa and glide on its thrilling white-knuckle waterslides and chutes. For budding beach bums, ride a wave or two at Surf House Ibiza on either a bodyboard or surfboard.

Embrace the island's hippie scene at the Wednesday market in Es Cana, where artists, painters, and designers have flocked here to sell their crafts for over forty years. The atmosphere is authentic, with colourful stalls selling jingling bracelets, bold scarves, hand-painted artwork, and other bohemian trinkets.

If you're searching for a little bit of luxury, Portinatx and Playa D'En Bossa are known for their pretty boutiques that are sure to impress.

For some evening browsing, head to San Miguel for its Thursday evening artisan market, where you can hunt for some one-of-a-kind handmade souvenirs and take a piece of Ibiza culture home with you.

From locally produced honey to watercolour paintings and beautiful rugs – it's a shopaholic's paradise.

Ibiza is so much more than a party island; it's a paradise. With its beautiful beaches and crystal waters, you could easily mistake the Balearic Islands for the tropical Caribbean. What better way to enjoy this top holiday spot than with your very own luxury villa?

We have accommodation options in the most famous Ibiza resorts: San Antonio, Ibiza Town, Playa d'en Bossa, Santa Eulalia and Port des Torrent.

Whether you want to be right in the heart of the nightlife or prefer a relaxing beach holiday, you'll find the perfect holiday rentals with Solmar Villas.

Ibiza Town is a fantastic place to enjoy your holiday, and the town's natural beauty will take your breath away. We have a superb selection of villas available in the town, each with its charm.

From modern constructions to those with a great deal of rustic charm, you can appreciate privacy while being in the heart of the action.

Imagine being able to relax in your very own swimming pool instead of sharing with other people. One of the main reasons people choose villas instead of hotels is because they want some peace away from the main attractions.

With a range of villas dotted around charming towns and large resorts, you can take advantage of free WiFi, al fresco dining facilities and private parking. These villas also have air conditioning and are perfect for a family holiday.

If you're planning an extra memorable holiday, we also have some modern luxury villas that rival the best five-star hotels. Remember that these lavish holiday homes are exclusively yours and within easy access (at most just a short drive) from the most popular destinations in Ibiza.

Some have hot tubs, while others are in a great location. Enjoy the best beaches and nightlife in the area, or relax in true luxury and privacy.

Ibiza is a beautiful location with so much to offer. Therefore, we always advise people to book in advance because our best villas go quickly. If you'd like some support with choosing a villa, please feel free to contact us.

We can also tell you which are closest to the Ibiza airport and advise on suitable villas for families or smaller parties.
