Much like the rest of Majorca, Porto Colom has a rich and fascinating history. This fishing village was supposedly the birthplace of Christopher Columbus, from which the resort’s name originates. Tucked away in the south east of the island and in a large sheltered bay, Port Colom is home to a picturesque marina, attractive buildings and a selection of wonderful beaches, including Cala Marsal, thought to be one of the best in Europe.
