Villa Bacallar

Great villa with lots of outside space. The outside cooking area was amazing and the swimming pool was a great size. The bedrooms had air conditioning which worked so well. The Villa was also close to the fantastic supermarket 5 mins walk away. A great beach bar 10mins walk from the villa and a Spanish restaurant at the end of the road. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely villa with lots of character and amazing outdoor space. Only observation was it could do with air con in main lounge and a little dated. But we were there when there was a heat dome! It was great, peaceful location, near to restaurants and super market.

This is our second holiday with Solmar Villas. As a company they are great to deal with although their portal for managing your booking is dated and clunky. Our villa was advertised as "Villa Bacallar" however it is really "Villa Molinos" as shown on every address and key. Whilst spacious, the villa was not the cleanest and it was a surprise to find not a single toilet roll, hand soap or any cleaning products whatsover in the villa. There was also no sweeping brush or dustpan and brush. Whilst I appreciate that it is self catering, for not even the basics to be provided was disappointing. The gardens are in desperate need of tending - with pots of dead and dying plants and overgrown areas. The outside kitchen was also dilapidated with doors hanging off and dust everywhere. The bedrooms had a faint sense of must and the pool needs a good scrub. There is, however, an extortionate amount of crockery. I'm talking hundreds of plates. No soap or toilet roll but hundreds of plates. access was via a lockbox and a slightly tricky reverse in. Good local supermarket and bars nearby though.
