Lovely villa wells situated for exploring Nerja

We and our friends stayed for a week in Valeria and the adjoining villa Suero. These villas are well-located just outside the town centre and fairly close to the main beaches. Parking for one small/medium vehicle per villa is available. There are several convenience stores nearby for most requirements if you don’t want to bring a car. Nerja is fairly hilly, and beaches only reached by steps or hills, so it may not be suitable for all. The villa is ok for 6 people, although might be a bit crowded in poor weather when the outside area isn’t usable. Most of the necessary equipment is provided, although it would be helpful if rentals would provide a decent quantity of supplies such as dishwasher tablets, bbq coals and kitchen foil etc. Furniture is in good condition, but we found the outdoor table too small for 6 people dining. The bedrooms are reasonably sized, and beds comfortable. The pool is great for cooling off and kids games. One concern was that Solmar provide an email address for reporting issues, and an emergency phone number - yet they never replied when we emailed about some fairly minor repairs required, and it took them almost 2 hours to respond to my voicemail (nobody answered their emergency phone!) when our pool started overflowing after the maintenance man had been and cleaned it!
