Occupying a small spot on Tenerife’s rugged south-western coast, Callao Salvaje has been designed with relaxation in mind. Set within a sheltered bay, Ajabo Beach is uniquely beautiful and peaceful, with calm waters perfect for swimming and a scattering of sun beds for soaking up Tenerife’s year-round warm climate. Just ten minutes south is the livelier Fanabe Beach, a long stretch of golden sand backed by a picturesque promenade lined with beach bars.

When you’re not sunbathing, Callao Salvaje has a handful of cafes and restaurants serving up traditional Spanish delicacies. Freshly-caught fish is the most popular dish in the area, served in tapas and paella with a Canarian speciality of a spicy Mojo sauce. It’s home to several shops, including a bakery, a pharmacy, and a minimarket where you’ll be able to find all of the essentials. With the bright lights of Costa Adeje and Playa de las Americas just a 20-minute drive away – a villa holiday here is truly the best of both worlds. Here you’ll be spoilt for things to do with a first-class gastronomy scene, rows of shops and bars to dance the night away.

With a prime location on the island, you’re close to some of the best sights in Tenerife. We recommend hiring a car and heading 45 minutes north to Teide National Park, where you’re met with dramatic moon-like landscapes full of crates and lava rivers. Choose between extraordinary hiking trails or take the cable car up to the summit of the incredible Mount Teide. To keep the kids busy, make a splash at the Siam Park and Aqualand waterparks, which are just a striking distance from our Callao Salvaje villas.

Lovely villa, nice pool area, with pool table which kept the boys busy.. down side was the open grate at back door.. The key fell down the grate in error, phoned solmar villas ooh who were fantastic. Although, I wasn’t impressed with the cleaners attitude the following morning when she came to the aid of locating the key. In the grate. Her words were’ don’t do it again’. This is not a very polite or friendly way to speak to paying guests. This was a genuine mistake. I’ve always had a great villa through solmar villas but this has made me rethink for future villas

I booked and paid for transfers, arrived with a 5,2 and 1 year old, no transfer. With help from a Spanish lady, spoke as advised to the transfer company who said they had no record. The Spanish lady found us transport. I contacted Solmar to cancel other transfers but they kept phoning and had it all wrong. Paid for extra cot and highchair. Only had one complimentary one, it was broken. Representative brought another one it was broken. The one cot had no mattress. The rep was unhelpful and very rude. I've been promised a refund but don't have one. My bed was badly broken, reported it, it did get replaced by a lovely maintenance man who found lots of repairs required. I just want my refund and perhaps an apology. Instead I have to compile a dossier and photos. It's spoiled my family holiday as I did the right thing all along and now finding I'm not trusted. Maybe you can help.

First time at this villa. Lovely open space and plenty of room in bedrooms. Excellent bath/shower rooms. Out side space is fabulous. Very quiet area but only 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Had a fabulous holiday. Will certainly come back.

To access the villa there is a path which is 95cm wide alongside 7 steps. The front door has a width of 98cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 102cm wide. The terrace is open-plan, flat and tiled. The pool itself has ladder access. This is a ground-floor property. All bedrooms have a door width of 70cm, whilst all bathrooms have a door width of 70cm. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 70cm wide and the door into the lounge area is also 70cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
