Casa Del Mar

Beautiful villa with stunning views. There was 11 of us staying and there was more than enough space. Bedrooms were a good size and everything was spotless. Great location, only 20mins walk to centre of Son Bou. Beautiful pool which everyone absolutely loved. We were provided with clean towels and bedding midway through our stay and the pool was also cleaned. Absolutely no complaints at all. Would highly recommend this villa and booking through Solmar.

We visited the villa in July 2025 and had a fantastic holiday in Menorca. The villa is stunning! There was 6 of us staying there that week and each of us gave a wow as walled in. The villa is huge, 5 bedrooms, plenty of room and different levels to chill out. The views are gorgeous and the terrace and balcony's are lovely to sit out on with your drinks and relax. The biggest wow is the pool! The kids thought it was amazing because it was so big! We took plenty of inflatables, lilos and games etc and it was a fantastic time. It was a bit chilly at times in the pool, but you soon get past that when you having fun and also its a godsend when it is a boiling hot day! We did have a problem with a toilet not working but that was very quickly fixed the very same day when I got intouch with Solmar. The bathrooms could do with a refurb/upgrade but I will say we never had a problem with not having hot water and they had great water pressure, especially when there was 6 of us aswell. No problems. The decor is basic inside but it is a typical Spanish villa really, there is all the basics you need for your holidays including a washing machine which came in handy too. The location is great, very quiet and only a small walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and the beach, all in one place. We did that walk most days and it wasnt far and the 3 kids managed no problem. We didnt bother hiring a car. We would definitely return! Especially for the pool! :-)

We was so disappointed with the villa. It was so dated and the stairs were unsuitable in doors for small children. We had to call up and get a gate. There was broken tiles around the pool and one of the children cut there foot. The grates around the pool were missing and broken. We moved one of the sofas and the plug socket was hanging out of the wall. We always hire a villa every year for a family holiday with no problems. The pictures shown on the website are not true as advertised. For what we paid it was overpriced and would not recommend this villa as needs a complete update
