Villa Karina Overview
Nestled on the outskirts of Binibeca in the corner of a peaceful cul-de-sac, Villa Karina is a hidden gem and an ideal retreat from everyday life. Externally, the colourful garden and inviting pool with whirlpool section creates an oasis which you will find difficult to leave, but should you wish to explore, getting out and about could not be easier. A fifteen minute stroll will take you to the village and sandy beach of Binibeca and for a spot of retail therapy, the quaint old fishing town of Binibeca Vell offers charming cobbled streets inlaid with boutiques, shops and eateries.
High beamed ceilings and large patio doors create a light and airy living space, with two of the three bedrooms (one of which has en-suite facilities), family bathroom and separate kitchen on the ground floor. A particularly appealing feature of Villa Karina is the upstairs annex accessed by an external staircase, perfect for older teenagers or grandparents seeking some extra privacy from the rest of the family!

To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide along with 3 steps. The front door has a width of 70cm and other doors that access the pool area are also 70cm wide. The grounds are flat/even/tiled and the pool has steps with no handrail to enter. There are 3 steps from the terrace to the pool area. All the bedrooms have a door width of 70cm and all the bathrooms have a door width of 70cm. We had a great holiday at Villa Karina and the location is really good, close to the village and beach, yet in a nice quiet area. The layout of the villa is good and we liked the separation of the upstairs bedroom, which worked well for us. Pool and outside area were lovely. Some of the fittings in the villa are tired and the twin beds are only really suitable for children, but overall a good stay and the Solmar representative Kelly was superb in her communication and help. Transfers arranged through Solmar were very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Karina. The location of the Villa was fantastic and we loved Binibeca Village which was only a short walk from the Villa. The table tennis and swimming pool was a real hit with the family. There was plenty of shade which was great. The only problems we had were:- The twin beds in bedroom three were not suitable for adults and the fridge freezer was old but now this has been reported, we hope it has been replaced. Solmar Villas Concierge Kelly was excellent and very helpful.

The villa had a lovely pool and garden, with plenty of outdoor seating. We particularly enjoyed the outside dining area with in-built bbq. The A/C was excellent and the upstairs bedroom with en-suite was a godsend to us as the grandparents. Restaurants and shops were a short walk away with more options a little further afield, with the sandy beach about a 30 minutes walk. The villa location was in a nice quiet area but vacant plots means further developments may happen in the future.

the villa and grounds were superb south facing it was sheltered from the wind and in the full sun all day the pool was excellent we did however report that there was a leak as the level dropped more than through evaporation this was promptly attended to by a visit from the pool cleaner the transfer from the airport arranged by solmar was excellent. thank you for a holiday to remmber

The location of the villa for us was excellent. It was quite near the small village area of Binibeca but not too near and it was extremely private and quiet. The pool was very good. We travelled as a party of seven, which included one baby. Initially this was only meant to be a party of five so we were a little apprehensive regarding space. When we arrived, we were surprised that the upstairs bedroom actually had a completely different entry point. Although this was no good for ourselves and the baby, the grandparents found it perfect as there own little getaway space. I think if we were by ourselves with a young family we would feel this space is wasted as you would not feel comfortable leaving children downstairs. But it turned out perfect for our family setup. The pool was gorgeous, larger and deeper than normal villa pools. Location was perfect as it was a short stroll into binibeca veil ( a few quaint little cafe and cute restaurants and bars), with a slightly longer walk, but manageable to the beach.

The villa would benefit from modernised bathrooms and kitchen,although the living accommodation and first floor bedroom were lovely

We arrived at our Villa it was clean tidy and perfectly situated for us. We spent alot of our holiday relaxing by the pool in the morning and exploring the island in the afternoon, The Villa had everything we needed. It was our first time abroad with our children I have recomended Solmar to my friends and will use them again. Solmar to me is a small company which offers a service second to none with the personal touch, which is why I choose them over a large company. Many Thanks for a holiday we will always remember.
