Costa Villa – Honest Feedback We were really looking forward to our stay at Costa Villa, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. On arrival, the garden appeared quite overgrown and unkempt, which gave a poor first impression. The outdoor seating had dog hairs all over. There were items left at the bottom of the pool from the previous occupants . Inside the villa, there was a noticeable dusty smell. While the fridge was clean, we were disappointed to find the coffee machines hadn’t been properly cleaned — one still had old coffee in the filter, and the other contained mouldy coffee. The outdoor pool area was also a concern. The ground around the top end of the pool is very uneven, with raised slabs that caused our children to trip and fall several times during our stay. We also experienced issues inside the villa. Two of the bathrooms had showers that would overflow after even a short shower, which became quite frustrating. There were many lights that didn’t work along with a broken bed side lamp balancing on its stand. One afternoon, we returned to the villa to find workmen inside carrying out electrical work. While we understand maintenance is sometimes necessary, the electricity had been disconnected without any prior notice. A quick text or courtesy message would have gone a long way to prepare us to find people inside our villa. I don’t enjoy leaving negative feedback, but I do feel it’s important to be honest for the sake of future guests. Costa Villa has potential and a good location but in its current state, it was disappointing and not what we had expected based on the listing.

Lovely villa, small pool, great terrace area Quiet location, 10-15 min walk into Port de Pollensa. Some suggestions including increasing kitchen utensils and providing tea towels and oven gloves. Pillows need replacing. Shower needs fixing. Towels provided are quite small.

The villa is accessed via a 160cm-wide path leading to the front door, which is 110cm wide. There are two steps up to the front entrance. The outdoor area includes a covered terrace and a garden. Access to the covered terrace requires stepping down one step, and another step leads from the terrace to the garden. From the garden, there is one step up to the pool area. The pool itself is equipped with three Roman steps for entry. The path to the pool is 75cm wide, and the outdoor spaces include both flat and uneven areas. Other access doors to the terrace and pool are 140cm wide. Inside the villa, there are changes in height with internal steps. Although primarily a ground-floor property, there are seven steps leading to the bedrooms. The bedroom doors are 75cm wide, and the bathroom door on this level is 70cm wide. The kitchen/dining room is accessed via an 80cm-wide entrance, as is the lounge area. While the villa offers spacious outdoor areas and features such as Roman steps for pool access, the steps inside and outside may pose challenges for those with mobility concerns.
