When we think of a villa holiday in Guia, we’re transported to the breath-taking Algarve countryside, with almond trees, lush olive groves, and traditional vineyards at every turn. Formerly the agricultural heart of Portugal, this small village is the Algarve’s best kept secret and radiates charm with its cobblestoned streets and whitewashed houses. Known for a slower pace of life, this is the perfect area if you’re craving a relaxing villa escape, with no shortage of things to see and do.
A slight step inland from Portugal's striking southern coastline, our villas in Guia are the ideal base for exploring the best the Algarve has to offer. For the beach-lovers, hop in the car and you’ll hit the incredible Galé Oeste Beach in ten minutes. Closer to home is the famous Zoomarine Aqua Park, where you can get up close to a range of marine life. If you’re after a shopping spree, just around the corner is the Algarve Shopping Centre, with endless fashion stores, a food court and a multi-screen cinema.
Its claim to fame is its local dish – the spicy grilled Piri Piri chicken. There are plenty of spots within the town to try this delicious delicacy, with a crop of bars and local restaurants to tempt your taste buds. If you’re after a livelier evening, Albufeira is a short drive away and offers a vibrant atmosphere of nightclubs, jazz bars, and clubs.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.

Please be aware the villa grounds are on different levels and there are 7 steps down to the pool area from the villa. Therefore may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.

All villa rental rates include preparation, linen, towels (excluding poolside towels unless stated), pool maintenance, water, electricity, gardening and various levels of cleaning and preparation. For more details on what to expect before, during and after your stay please read our FAQs.
