Praia Grande is the town’s star beach, where children can paddle safely in the gentle Atlantic waters and watersports are popular pastimes, especially snorkelling. Many magical caves and grottoes dot the coast, including the famous Benagil cave, and a boat trip is the best way to explore them.
In the old part of the city overlooked by the imposing 16th century Armacao de Pera Fort, admire well-preserved traditional fisherman's houses and a 16th-century chapel as you navigate the narrow-cobbled streets and tree-lined squares. Sample Portuguese specialities in one of the family-run restaurants – the seafood is as fresh as it gets – and pick up handcrafted jewellery and textiles from the quirky shops. Being in a central location, the town is very close to other popular attractions in the area including the town of Albufeira, the award-winning vineyards of Quinta dos Vales and several golf courses.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
