The popular resort area of Ixia is just 5km from the fascinating historic centre of Rhodes Town and just 6 km from the International Airport.
Ixia boasts a long, 2km stretch of beach which is a mixture of sand and shingle/pebble, and is a fantastic choice for watersports enthusiasts thanks to the easterly breeze that picks up in the afternoon. Windsurfing, parasailing and jet skiing are all on offer for those seeking an adrenaline rush. The beach in this popular, cosmopolitan resort is also home to many other facilities, including beach bars and sunbeds with parasols, whilst the attractive waterfront is lined with restaurants and tavernas - the perfect spot to admire Ixia's famed wonderful sunsets! The far end towards Kremasti is quieter and may suit families with children.
Hop on a bus and explore the intriguing, medieval Rhodes Old Town as well as the New Town with its upmarket shops and waterfront bars.

Only just booked holiday, but all good so far. Phoned for advice, call was answered quickly and query resolved. Booked online and there was an issue with flights not appearing on confirmation. Called again, picked up straight away and advised flights would be added manually on system. They appeared almost immediately with follow up email, so very impressed with service. Looking forward to holiday and receiving additional information from their ‘concierge service’. If the rest of the holiday process is as good as the initial booking, I’ll recommend without hesitation.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.

Please note, this villa is in a hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there is a path which is 153cm wide alongside 1 step. The front door has a width of 70cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 107cm wide. The pool is on a lower level and accessed via a ramp or steps. The terrace is uneven in places, and consists of lawn, tiles and stepping stones. There is 1 ground floor bedroom. From the kitchen to the sitting area, there are 2 steps. From the dining area to the lounge, there are 2 steps. There are 18 steps to the main bedroom, which has a door width of 82cm. The main bathroom door is 70cm wide. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 82cm wide and the door into the lounge area is also 142cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
