Alykes allures you to the fascinating salt flats which separate the town from nearby Alykanas in the north of Zakynthos. There's also a 3 kilometre stretch of beach here - divided by a canal and offering an abundance of silky sand and windsurfing opportunities. The Villa itself is lovely and the views from the pool decking area - well you could sit and look at it all day and never get bored. The BBQ eating/sitting area is lovely as well. The villa is spacious and plenty big enough for 4 people, it is well equipped and very comfortable. The villa was cleaned during our stay and the bed linen and towels changed which we had not expected. I do have some reservations - the villa is located on a main road on a very nasty bend. The noise level was ok during the day and during the night but woke us up early every morning. It was also a challenge to get the car up a very steep parking area to the road. You need to be good at hill starts. You do need a car as although there is a lovely bakery, supermarket and small cafe within walking distance in the village, it is a long walk in the heat to the nearest resturants and bars.down in Alykes The villa is well placed to visit other areas on the Island.

This villa is in a hilly/mountainous area. There are 21 steps to access this villa. The front door has a width of 78cm and the other doors that access the pool area are 80cm wide. The ground in the house and around the pool is flat. This pool has steps access. Both bedrooms have a door width of 76cm and both bathrooms rooms have a door width of 78cm.
