Fiscardo, an utterly idyllic harbour village located in the north of the island simply oozes charm and is particularly popular with discerning travellers seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday in a picture postcard setting.
The neighbouring hamlets and villages (Vassiliki, Maganos and Antipata to name but a few) surrounding Fiscardo offer fabulous views of the magical and Mythical Ithaca, literally a hop, skip & jump away, and along with the numerous idyllic little coves scattered around this region, one can easily understand why this magnetic destination attracts a ridiculously high number of repeat guests each year. The exquisite seaside village of Assos can also be found nearby, yet another of the Erissos peninsulas charming and iconic gems. Its jumble of tiny houses with their colourful bougainvillea clad façades, are a photographers dream and there are spectacular views from its elevated Venetian castle, well worth the scenic 45 minute stroll!
As for Fiscardo itself, Pastel painted harbour front cottages with their traditional brightly coloured shutters reveal picture-postcard views of the harbour and Ithaca beyond. This really is an amazing place to indulge in a spot of people watching, as the harbour front café’s and restaurants are regularly filled with celebrities who frequently hop over on their little tender boats from their vast and insanely expensive yachts and motor cruisers.

Only just booked holiday, but all good so far. Phoned for advice, call was answered quickly and query resolved. Booked online and there was an issue with flights not appearing on confirmation. Called again, picked up straight away and advised flights would be added manually on system. They appeared almost immediately with follow up email, so very impressed with service. Looking forward to holiday and receiving additional information from their ‘concierge service’. If the rest of the holiday process is as good as the initial booking, I’ll recommend without hesitation.

Managed to speak to someone quickly and they emailed information promptly and had listened to what I needed so service was good.. spoke to someone different the next day and all the information had been recorded so the conversation was easy . Biggest benefit was talking to a real person and not having to navigate lots of AI conversations /options .
The phone is answered quickly, staff are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a query they are always happy to help or sort any problems. We would definitely recommend Solmar.

Please note, as can be seen in the images, this villa is in a hilly/mountainous area and sits in an elevated position. Access to the villa is via 1 step. The front door has a width of 76cm, whilst the door to the terrace is 110cm wide. The terrace is crazy paved and can be uneven in places. There are multiple exterior steps. There are 3 steps from the lounge to the patio area, a further 3 steps to the second pool, and 3 more steps down to another seating area. From the front door you can access 2 bedrooms and 2 ensuites, the remaining rooms are down 17 internal steps. These bedroom/bathroom doors are 70cm wide. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 120cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
