You will be able to request a full refund of the price paid for your villa booking, if on your date of travel, the following conditions are met:

- The UK FCDO or Government in your country of residence advises against travel to your destination due to COVID-19 on your travel date.

Perfectly located in the exclusive resort of Plaka just a ten-minute drive from Elounda, this villa in Eastern Crete encourages guests to enjoy a slower pace of life by the Mediterranean Sea.

On the ground floor there is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with adjoining living and dining area, as well as a double bedroom. Stairs lead to the upper floor where another double bedroom is located with an en-suite shower room, alongside a family bathroom and a furnished terrace with uninterrupted views across the bay beyond. Outside is where the property really starts to shine – as well as a large private pool, which is set above the villa and is accessed by a series of steps, there’s an outdoor dining table to enjoy supper once the sun sets. The villa is located close to ample amenities and blissful beaches should you wish to venture into your surroundings. Make a day of it and check out the pebble beach with a promenade backed by tamarisk trees, or visit Knossos, the largest Bronze Age archaeological site on Crete and considered Europe's oldest city.
The charismatic town of Agios Nikolaos is approximately ten kilometres south of Elounda and suits those looking for a lively day out by the coast. The area is bustling with an array of boutiques, restaurants and bars lining the charming harbour area, which opens into a deep lake dotted with mega-yachts and fishing boats. Attractions here include the many Blue Flag beaches, an archaeology museum which houses 6,000-year-old relics and the Cretan Olive Oil Farm, where guests can learn about the processes involved in making traditional olive oil, pottery and wine.
