A small coastal town and seaside resort just 20 kilometres from the capital of Crete, Heraklion. Agia Pelagia offers a small beach offering water sports and diving opportunities and a good choice of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops; but no raucous nightlife, it is mainly a family beach resort, excellently positioned for just relaxing or sightseeing around this fascinating part of Crete.

Just east of Agia Pelagia is the sandy beach of Lygaria, where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds, or dine at the beach front tavernas. Fortunately Lygaria is protected from the north winds so the sea in the bay is normally calm.

The villa was above our expectations. It was easy to access via the lock box and handed over to us in very clean condition. There were a few welcome items to start us off such as water, juice, fruit, tea and coffee before the short walk to the supermarket. The villa had everything we needed and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The outside area was much bigger than expected and although the pool was small it was very welcome in the heat. The beach and resort is a short walk away. The maids were lovely and very helpful and kind and available if needed.

This villa is in a hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide alongside 4 steps. There is a steep incline to the villa entrance. The front door has a width of 100cm, whilst the door to the terrace is also 100cm wide. The terrace is tiled and mostly flat, however there is a small step up to the dining area. The pool itself requires ladder access. This is a ground floor property, where the door into the kitchen is 100cm wide, and the door into the lounge is 200cm wide. The double bedroom door is 70cm wide, whilst the shower room door is 65cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.
