Don't be fooled by photos. Not modern. Grubby everywhere. Broken furniture not replaced. Tide marks on hot tub. Broken shower cubicle can't get in door, broken door handles, broken sunbeds. Musty. Dehumidifier down stairs so clearly a problem. Hair dryer from 1990's. Projector broken, sofas not as photos. Net curtains filthy. Not clean, filthy coffee machine, had to have cleaned as disgusting. Clear ant problem not spray or get rid of them, had to ask to be cleaned all over food, kitchen and even in bed. Legionnaire possible bacteria from hot tub, shot out yellow scum from nozzles. Yellow/brown stains at top of hot tub and in nozzles. slimy to sit in. Not working half of holiday. Welcome pack rip off. Solmar aware of all issues nothing fixed. broken bed and brackets, left with having to do our own make shift repairs. Still waiting for response from Solmar.

Villa doesn't look modern like the photos on the website in fact completely the opposite. Dilapidated! Everything was falling apart. Musty smell soon as walk in. Everything felt dirty to the touch very grubby like no one had stayed there in years. Dirty towels. Front door didn't work so had to use bottom door all the time. Crater in road up to villa nearly took out car on way up to the villa. No lights when arriving late and pitch black when arrived so couldn't see where to put key fob to turn lights on. Welcome pack not sufficient for 5-8 and items missing. We even saw the wine in a shop for €2.79 cheap and about €25 if that we paid £50. So would not recommend a couple of stale loaves etc for that price. Had to throw most of it away as hard as a rock. Kitchen had dirty worktops, coffee machine caked in used coffee. Sick caddy filthy with used sponges. Dead flies and ants on worktops and on welcome pack. Sofas throws bedding covers grubby never been washed. No leather sofas like the photos. Leather had been picked off and had black hairs all over and covered in grubby orange cover that looked like it was from 1970’s. Lounge not as photos shown at all. Bathroom door handle fell off on toilet side of door and hit foot. Bath mats threadbare and filthy had to be taken away. Black hairs all over the place including pillows and in beds. Beds supports not working not even touching floor. Wardrobes smelt so bad would not put my clothes in, dust everywhere! UNCLEAN didn't want to touch anything that bad. Owners did eventually come out to clean. Took them an hour to clean coffee machine that bad, bought different towels, no other cleaning was done apart from taking unclean items away including bath mats and sofa cover/throws. Grubby thrown left on bed and was told to just speak to them directly in future if any problems. Coffee machine washed, towels changed, sink scrubbed, bath mats taken away. told would bring ant bait and would fill in crater on road leading to Villa with cement. This was completed the following day and bait left on table as not in. Dirty tea towels. Another day of holiday gone. Had to clean ants again with anti-bac and put poison down. Hot tub smelt and water was murky and slimy when sat in didn't use until cleaned again. Cleaners turned up as staying two week for mid stay clean took away pole supporting the bed so it collapsed and was never fixed the rest of the following week. Had to temporary fix bed with garden furniture propping up. No responses from owners never came to fix any of the above problems. Was told I’m at work what’s the problem? Then a bank holiday again no response or dealt with. Hot tub had dirty scum marks all around top and floating objects coming out of nozzles including yellow scum felt slimy when sat in. Asked for it to be cleaned. Eventually came out to clean and then not put back together properly. Hot tub not working properly water dropped over 20 cm and water shooting out of nozzles everywhere as not under water. showing scum marks again. Projector downstairs didn't work. Dehumidifier left on side. Had to wash things in washing machine to use and also in dishwasher as didnt feel clean. Had to buy them a chopping board as green plastic thing over used and probably carrying bacteria like the hot tub. Totally disappointed with 2 week stay, nothing resolved or fixed and took up over half the holiday trying to get anything done. Disappointing! The only thing that was like the photos was the view! What a waste of money and time. We did ask to be moved, but no where else until the day we would be leaving. Solmar were told about all problems from the beginning, owners involved and we were even told to just contact them if anything went wrong. There is no way that villa was checked for being clean etc, but since we have left not heard anything! Which again is disappointing as we have used Solmar many times! None of the maintenance things fixed felt like we cleaned the villa for the next guests.. Just a snapshot of probably worst villa/hotel stayed in! Cant add photos to this review for some reason as you need to see it to believe it!

We had a lovely week at Pomos View Villa. The Villa is remote with stunning views, the directions given to find the Villa were quite poor. The villa is up a very steep track. The remoteness of the Villa is its best feature and its worst really. The views and the peace and quiet are wonderful but obviously everting is a really a 20min each way drive.. The outside space of the villa is lovely and well kept. We had a few issues with the interior though. The slats on a couple of the beds were awful and had been broken before and really poorly repaired. Also the doors were a real pain to lock and unlock and only one key is supplied which is also needed to initiate the power. Also a couple of internal door handles were loose and came off in our hands. This place is lovely and these things were fairly minor with the exception of the beds. The air con in all the bedrooms worked a treat and was very welcome. We found the kitchen to be a bit sparse in terms of cooking utensils. I’d happily stay again but just think it needs a little tlc in a few areas to make it exceptional.
