Villa Erato, Farsa

Villa Erato sits proudly on the hillside between the coastal road and the sea, with stunning views over the Bay of Argostoli across to Luxouri. The pool area literally hangs over the sea, and from here you can enjoy amazing sunsets and the lights of Luxouri twinkling across the water in the evening. A small track leads down to Ligia beach, a strip of sand and pebbles with a few umbrellas and sunbeds where you can swim with sand underfoot. Just up the hill to the coastal road you can find several simple local style tavernas. For more sophisticated tastes Argostoli, the capital, is just 10 kms away. A great option is to drive to the start of the bridge and walk across to the other side for dinner, the walk back will be just what you need after an excellent dinner in the capital.
