The Travel Restrictions Guarantee is automatically included in the website price and can be removed before you book, however we strongly advise you keep it to give you added flexibility and protection.
You will still need to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy as soon as your booking is confirmed. This insurance should, as a minimum, protect you against cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, loss/theft of possessions and documents, personal liability and airline failure.

- If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.
- Cancellation of the booking will also result in loss of the premium paid.
- You should ensure you have adequate comprehensive travel insurance to protect you in cases of cancellation for any other reason including, but no limited to, being unable to travel due to airline failure or cancellation, being quarantined for or diagnosed with Covid-19 or unable to travel due to work commitments or restrictions upon return.

Villa Alcahuey Overview
Villa Alcahuey is a welcome addition to our portfolio of villas. Situated in a privileged and elevated position along a track in an area known as Punta Lara Alta just outside of the stunning resort of Nerja, the villa offers spectacular and un-spoilt views over the surrounding countryside, including the sea and coast.
Inside there is a large lounge and dining area which is tastefully furnished along with a separate, large and fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs there is a mezzanine level overlooking the lounge area where two twin bedrooms and a bathroom are located. Back on the ground floor there are two further bedrooms, both double, one with en-suite facilities plus a further shower room. Patio doors lead onto the inviting pool and barbecue area, perfect for soaking up both the sun and those fabulous views.

This villa is in an exceptionally hilly/mountainous area and despite the villa building being located in an uneven ground without important steps around, the villa location is the top of a hill and the drive to the villa is complicated. The grounds outside the house is steeped (it's in a hill) To access the villa there is a path which is 180cm wide along with 1 step up to the villa itself. The front door has a width of 82cm. The garden area is surrounded by 2 different staircases, from the covert terrace to the pool area (20cm) and the pool are to the garden (13 cm). The pool has roman steps to enter. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 80cm wide which is the double room and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 80cm wide. Lovely Villa with amazing views, however you need to be a confident driver and have a robust car, preferably a 4x4 for ground clearance, I would not recommend trying to find it in the dark and get some provisions before arriving as its a fair trek to the nearest shop. Nerja and Frigliana are fabulous places.

We had a lovely weeks stay, the villa and it’s views are amazing. Lovely and clean , everything that was needed to self cater for a week was there. Slightly scary drive up to the villa as I’m scared of heights, everyone else in our party was fine tho, I was just being a wimp. I would have given full 10/10 for everything if we hadn’t of had a lot of ants trying to stay with us, I didn’t complain at the time and sorted with a repellent spray ourselves. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again

Villa Alcahuey is situated up a dirt track half way up the hillside north west of Nerja. The villa has a fabulous outlook over Nerja and the Sierra Nevada. Four good sized double bedrooms, a large reception area, plenty of outdoor areas including a covered barbecue area, large pool, hot tub and pleasant gardens with fruit trees. In the winter this got quite cold in the evenings and we could have benefitted from some outdoor heaters which were sadly lacking. The pool was unheated and so very cold in December, and the hot tub was good, except some of the jets were not working. Overall a fabulous villa for the Summer, but disappointing in the Winter with its east facing aspect meaning we lost the sun at about 3.00pm every day.

I have just spent 2 weeks at villa Alcahuey with my husband and our 3 kids aged 17, 15 and 10. All of us were very happy there. The villa was spacious and clean on arrival. The view from the outside seating and pool area of the mountains and sea is spectacular. The swimming pool is large and in good condition. The kids were happy with the WiFi speed which appeared to be very good until 4 people tried to stream at once and movies started to lag. The smart tv in the lounge is huge and we could watch Netflix and YouTube on.Overall this is a great villa and I’m very happy that we chose it.
