The Travel Restrictions Guarantee is automatically included in the website price and can be removed before you book, however we strongly advise you keep it to give you added flexibility and protection.
You will still need to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy as soon as your booking is confirmed. This insurance should, as a minimum, protect you against cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, loss/theft of possessions and documents, personal liability and airline failure.

- If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.
- Cancellation of the booking will also result in loss of the premium paid.

Villa Venus Overview
A brand-new contemporary villa with outstanding décor, beautiful ensuite bedrooms and just a few minutes’ walk from a golden-sand beach lapped by clear waters – it’s no wonder that Villa Venus proudly belongs in our Something Special category.
Set in Ai Helis, a serene coastal area in the southwest of Kefalonia, Villa Venus suits all age groups and those who are after a relaxing holiday. The villa feels wonderfully spacious with whitewashed rooms punctuated by colourful artwork and exceptionally stylish furniture. The centrepiece of the house is the open plan kitchen, living and dining area, boasting a spectacular vaulted ceiling with a huge chandelier as the focal point. All three bedrooms are ensuite and have access to a balcony, where guests can enjoy views of the sprawling lush hillside and glimpses of the Ionian Sea, thanks to the villa’s slightly raised position.
Outside, large front and rear terraces overlook verdant gardens, the pool area and over towards the spectacular mountains. There is an outdoor shower to cool off, as well as a smart portable barbecue to rustle up some delicious meals by the pool or up on the kitchen terrace. In 2021, a new addition will be a beautiful covered gazebo providing shade, as well as ample parasols.
The villa is just a few minutes’ walk from a restaurant and mini market, as well as the nearby Ai Helis beach, an ideal environment for children thanks to the shallow waters and soft sand. If you want to explore further, the capital Argostoli is just a 15-minute drive away and well worth a visit.

Resort Description
Ai Helis is a sleepy coastal area just south of the traditional village of Svoronata in Leivathos and only around 15 minutes drive from the capital town, Argostoli. Ai Helis offers a glorious deep bay of golden sand and shallow crystal clear water gazing out at the tiny islet of Zeus and backed by cliffs. Along the cliff edge are some very exclusive Greek summer homes and holiday villas.
The beach offers a small snack bar in high summer as well as sunbeds and parasols for rent and it is popular for beach volley games in the late afternoon. Just inland are a smattering of tavernas, restaurants and a couple of mini markets to choose from all within a few minutes easy stroll along country lanes whilst the larger supermarkets are just a short drive away. Apart from Argostoli itself there are also a few places of interest within 10 minutes drive of Ai Helis – including the Castle of St. George and St. Andreas Monastery which are both well worth a visit. For a change of scenery, the stunning beaches of Avithos, Megalipetra and Ammes are close by to name just a few.
