Villa Clarence Overview
Located in the quiet residential Buganvilla urbanization, Villa Clarence is a delightful three-bedroom villa set in an amazing location, walking distance to amenities, Burriana beach and the charming town of Nerja.
Set over three levels, the lounge and kitchen are located on the ground floor, a twin bedroom and shower bathroom are on the lower ground floor and a further double and twin bedroom are located on the first floor and share a bathroom. All bedrooms and lounge have air conditioning for your comfort and WiFi is readily available in the villa.
Outside you will find your own private swimming pool with a dining table set under natural shade. Additional comfortable seating is also at the far side of the swimming pool.
For location, this villa could not be better placed, as Nerja’s renowned shopping streets and a vast array of restaurants and cafeterias are within walking distance. Also, the celebrated and much acclaimed Balcon de Europa and Nerja’s fine sandy beaches, including the popular Burriana beach are also within easy reach. Villa Clarence also has its own private garage for usual parking in this central area.

To access the villa there is a path which is 200cm wide along with 20 steps up to the villa itself. The front door has a width of 120cm wide and other doors that access the pool area are 120cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool are 120cm wide and there are no bedrooms or bathrooms on the ground floor, the nearest is up 18 steps to the first floor. Firstly I want to say that Lynda Miller was excellent at responding to and trying to resolve our issues, and the gift was much appreciated. I felt that the villa was not very clean when we arrived so she sent a team out the next day to clean again. I asked for more pillows which was also resolved. I know that we arrived at the end of the season and the team don’t have much chance to do repairs between guests, but I felt that the bathroom had more than a season of mould and grime on it, and the outside seat covers and loungers were really dirty - covered in bird poop. The ping pong table that was listed as part of the villa features was in a terribly rusty and wholly unusable state hiding in the garage. The pool table that was also listed was entirely absent. I feel that for a villa that sleeps six, having just one three seater sofa in the living area is inadequate. Even with four of us it was awkward. We did have a lovely time in Nerja, but it would have been even nicer if the villa had been up to scratch. I’m glad we didn’t pay full price for the villa as I would have felt a little cross given the circumstances.

This being the second year running that we have stayed at Clarence should give an indication of my thoughts. Still a well equipped, well located and fully equipped villa, But over the year some of the furniture and fittings have become a little tired - now due a bit of an update. Only real problem is the monster tree in next doors garden which blocks an awful lot of sunshine at times - constant moving of sunbeds required to find "a place in the sun"

Great location although the very steep hill and humidity didn't go hand in hand. Lovely pool and spacious villa allowing everyone to be together and have their own space when needed. The resort was very clean and it didn't feel touristy; prices were good across the resort whatever you bought.

We had a lovely week at Villa Clarence. Spotlessly clean and a good location. We enjoyed the walks to the main part of Nerja, however it is hilly and a decent 2 mile walk each way, for us that wasn't a problem and a short cut across the beach made it even more pleasant. The villa is a little dated and maybe a few updates and a a few more extras such as board games, a BBQ, a Cool bag and tuppa ware for taking food out wouldn't go a miss. Overall a nice place in a peaceful location with lovely views.

Peaceful area, nice but little outdated villa. We stayed there in October. The yard is surrounded by some big trees, so it's quite shady this time of the year. Portable BBQ wasn't usable, a big joke. As the house is detached, you can easily hear noises from the neighbour. We had some issues to be solved during our 2 weeks holiday, big thanks to local rep Emma Rogers helping us immediately and kindly.

Villa Clarence is one of the best equipped villas we have ever stayed in - absolutely everything anyone could need on a holiday to Nerja. The location, while being central is about 20 mins walk to the old town or 10 mins to / 30 mins back to Burriana beach due to the steepness of the road back - you soon learn to leave your car near to the bottom of the road back! Overall, a nice place - especially if there is only one couple, or very close friends sharing. We would go again if there's just the two of us.

Very happy with the Villa, situated quite high up, - Nerja is very hilly - in a lovely quiet area with nice views. One of the reasons we chose this villa was the table tennis and pool table - Loved the table tennis, but disappointed that the pool table isn't usable. Would have mentioned to the rep had she visited. Villa is clean, bright, not big but how much time do you spend indoors. overall we had a lovely week there
